First time at Centre for Dentistry and it went really well.
Lisa on the front desk is so friendly put me at ease from the moment I walked in. Suffering from anxiety I was very nervous along with not being to see a dentist for a number of years but I needn’t have worried at all. A gentleman named Lucas was the dentist I saw today he explained everything he was going to do and what he was about to do. I didn’t feel rushed or just a number.
A treatment plan was made for me and at no time was I made to feel forced into having any treatment I don’t need or feel comfortable having.
All my options were explained by Lisa, who again didn’t push me into anything I didn’t feel I needed it in fact afford.
If you have anxiety and you need a great dentist then this is the place to go. Excellent service and wonderful caring staff.

Day after my tooth extraction and I feel fantastic! I have always been terrified of the dentist from horrendous treatment as a child and it took me 2 weeks and sleepless nights to pluck up the courage to do this. I cannot praise this practice enough. The receptionist was lovely and so kind and understanding and the dental nurse was wonderful. The dentist herself was remarkable and explained everything to me and didn’t do anything until she advised what she was doing. Very caring. Not just another “production line”, in and out! Thank you for your kindness to a very nervous silly 62 year old. I’ll see you in July, still nervous, but not terrified!

This was my first time using a non-NHS dentist and despite my initial shock when i saw the price of my treatment i cannot say a bad word about the treatment i have received from this dentist. I hadn't been to the dentist in a few years so when i cracked a tooth and was told i had been taken off the books at my NHS dentist i needed to find a new one quick. The only NHS dentist taking new patients near me had awful reviews so i began to research affordable private practises and came across CFD. I immediately thought the £99 dental plan was good value (2x checkups & 2x scale & polishes p/year). My first checkup was in-depth with X-rays. However i was shocked when i was told my chipped tooth wasn't the concern and that a tooth needed root canal treatment. As soon as i heard that word i knew it was going to be expensive and i also thought painful. After being presented with a dental plan of the work i required, i was told about the 0% finance options and just decided to go ahead as i didn't have time to mess around finding a cheaper dentist. The appointments were set up quickly and efficiently with text reminders and a phonecall around 2 days before to confirm booking. A 10% discount was also applied to the price of my root canal treatment as i had joined the dental plan scheme. The treatment was spread between 2 appointments and i can honestly say it was 99% pain free. The only pain felt was when receiving local anaesthetic on the 1st appointment - I didn't feel a thing after that. I have heard nightmares about root canal but i cant fault the treatment i have received here. Yes, It is a LOT pricer if you are used to paying NHS capped prices but that being said the quality of work is also higher. They only use tooth coloured fillings as standard and the entire process has been stress free (Despite the cost). This has now become my dental practise and despite the pricing i honestly believe the quality of work i will receive here will blow my old NHS dentist out of the water. I am happy to pay more as i have never been so calm attending a dental practise.

I tried to ring up the clinic ask about the referral and they didn't tell me I need book another appointment, if they told me via the phone, we could sort out earlier and without confusion, as I don't know I need another appointment so I send an email about the details of referrals but no one replied. Therefore I went their practice in person and aware of appointment needed.
Generally I found out most of dental clinic have the same problem, they have multiple nurses but also worked as an receptionist, some are nicer and some are not bothered about your query, mix feeling towards their service standard, in addition, all dental practice they usually will book you around 3:30-4:00 pm peak time unless you say can't make it. In UK, you pay relatively expensive fees but ordinary service.

First of all they want you to pay in advance over the phone...I have visited the clinic some days ago for the first time. And last! The hygiene is very poor for the prices they practice. It's not a dentist but a store where they want to sell you "this or that". The chair were dirty (I mean it!), no paper protection. The black glasses they give to you to perform the x ray were greasy and disgusting. They spend more time trying to sell you treatments than to take care of you! No liquids to wash your mouth were applied before or after procedure. They will charge and charge and after a week I still have my problem to be sorted because in the end of the day I paid for nothing!
I have never seen such a bad practice like that in my life. No way I'm going back!

I visited today for a dental hygiene visit with Scott. I was quite anxious about the appointment as it was for a deep cleaning treatment for gum issues - Scott was absolutely fantastic and put me at ease and carried out the procedure effectively with very little discomfort experienced.
I would definitely recommend him and the clinic generally especially if you are nervous about visiting, very professional and reassuring. Thanks again!

I Have been visiting this dentistry for a few years now and I always leave the premises feeling very pleased. I have always feared the dentist, but Lucas and the staff have always been very professional, polite and made me feel very comfortable with every visit whether it being a scale and polish or a root filling.
Thank you Dr Lucas and the team..

I have been a member for many years now but since Acer took over the service has gone downhill. I will not be using them again due to a rude incompetent receptionist that doesn't know when the client is due for what. If the receptionists can't handle their own booking systems what hope is there for clientele?
