Hugely impressed with the emergency treatment I received at the practice during the Covid-19 pandemic. They are going to extraordinary lengths to ensure their patients safety. All the surfaces are being meticulously wiped down between patients and the premises are immaculately clean. You have to keep in mind that they are helping people at no small risk to themselves, too. They are taking all precautions to keep themselves safe but there is clearly still a risk to their own health because of the nature of the treatment they are providing.
The actual dental treatment I received was first class - they are ultra professional and very efficient. I am now pain free and immensely grateful to the people who helped me at the practice!

I have been going to see Dr Shah for almost 50 years. During this time I have had to see other doctors on occasions, due to either emergencies, appointment issues, or during Covid. However, the quality of work Dr Shah has performed on my teeth, has not been surpassed by any other dentist.
Thank you Dr Shah, for all the amazing work you have done on my teeth over the years.

I'm calling this practice since the covid started, every time I call, they say there are no space for new patients. Its beens more the 2 years already. I think you people don't know what you're doing there. Close this hole.

Giving 1 as that's the least. I have had a root canal with a crowning done 4 months ago. It was done in 4 seatings (which I understand) 1st being just the x-ray. Got the 2nd appointment 2 or more weeks later to do the root canal. My tooth has been hurting ever since. I mentioned it to the dentist on my 3rd (crown prep) and 4th (crown fit in) appointments. I was prescribed antibiotics 2wice for it which didn't even
help. I went back home for 2 months and had to see a dentist there as it hurt EVERY SINGLE day since the root canal.was done. The dentist back home couldnt do anything as the crown was already put in place . Went back on the 5th of Jan to Abney dental care and was seen by a lady dentist. I tried to explain to her what was happening. She was busy punching notes on the system. I did mention to her it was hurting a lot and is very sensitive to cold and hot. She checked my teeth, did X-ray. And decided to do a cold test on my teeth which was already THROBBING at that point. She put a cotton with something extremely cold on my tooth making me jump out of my seat. I wimped in pain . I was in sooooo much pain I couldn't help but cry. She tried to then tell me it is the other tooth etc etc instead on giving me a numbing injection. I was asked to take ibrufen for the pain. She mentioned she could give me the numbing injection which would have stopped the pain but said it's best to take ibrufen. She just stood there and didn't even attempt to help me with the pain. Felt I was being bullied. Felt so little. Wanted to leave that instant. I mean why would you put something soooo cold on my tooth when I told you it's super sensitive a to cold and throbbing at that point. I have had so many pain killers in the last 4 months DAILY because of that root canal tooth. In the end of this appointment I left feeling even worse , in more pain and tears .
I have been advised by her , the dentist to go private if I want to redo the root canal which will cost me £800 or get my tooth removed. I understand you are doing your job but we are human. That attitude was not good bat all.
