My local dentistry, they have always been very helpful and up front with what they could and couldn't do within NHS.
I had a tooth where an old filling had come loose and was causing pain when chewing or biting as the edge was close to the nerve. Recommend was to do an amalgam filling on NHS, with risk of it not solving the problem and then requiring a metal crown, or, a private and relatively costly composite filling , that due to the layering and construction would more likely solve the problem and prevent a crown needed.
I did some research and took advise, and decided to go with the private composite solution.
And, it worked! It's been several weeks ago, and no pain ever again, even with full biting which I now confidently do again. The procedure was done painless, with full care and using the latest dental care techniques, they took plenty of time for the whole treatment and it feels and looks great.
Not just the dentist was technically and professionally great, also the support assistant, he was kind, calming and re-assuring.
Worth every penny.
In my wildest dreams I never imagined they would come out so good.
I have received the best service and customer care I could possibly ask for from Dr Zar Ni Ye Myint and his assistant.
I do not say this lightly.
I went to 12 different dentists and even contemplated going to Turkey as a dental tourist before I settled with Dr Myint.
The winning factor was the upfront sincerity and wonderful personality and skills that Dr Myint seems to have in abundance.
I trust him implicitly and will be coming to him for my teeth for life.
I highly recommend him.
Thank you again for bringing a smile back to my face.
Thank you so much.
