The worst and most disappointing “PRIVATE” dental practice. No sign of professionalism.
I brought a family member to this practice due to their previous horrifying experience with a previous dentist. Initially the receptionist speaks in such a manner that I assumed to give this place a chance. It was all well and said as we were going privately.
However, upon arrival the whole experience was horrifying not only did they make the filling that was damaged previously worse but also charged us £450 for it. The dentist himself has a awful attitude, no compassion, no care whatsoever!
When we dispute the price after the filling fell out after 1 week they didn’t try to resolve the issue and instead demanded even more payment to fix what they had made worse.
This happened around 3-4 months ago and I initially did not want to write a bad review as I did not want to damage a family business. However, my own member of the family was traumatised and left disrespected and uncared for so i realised the right thing for me was to write a review to prevent anybody else having to experience what my family went through.
They claim to be a private dentist with their hefty prices however they don’t even meet the expectations of a normal standard practice. My advise stay away from this place and the dentist with his disgraceful communication and lack of care for his patients.
Also very informative with what I needed to have done and with no pressure. Thank you once again
If you read the reviews this has happened to someone else too. Avoid like the plague.
I managed to secure an emergency appointment with my regular dentist today. Who undertook a thorough examination of my tooth and advised that an extraction would not be required. My Dentist also advised that as I had previously had root canal treatment on that same tooth
which would have been evident on physical examination, I was advised that an extraction was not necessary. I saved myself considerable pain and money. Quoted cost alone for an extraction was £285!! which would not have included any remedial work. As I said grateful for them to see me in an emergency, however I would not expect a Dental assistant to comment on what was medically required. This duo were gangster in their assertion re tooth extraction which I was really uncomfortable with.
The rotten tooth was removed and the follow up advice was clear and very helpful.
I would thoroughly recommend this dentist following our experience in difficult circumstances.
