I had initially booked an appointment for a checkup, cleaning and a cavity that needed filled. After the examination I was informed that I had tooth decay on several of my teeth and would need many fillings. I was shocked to hear this as I had not experienced pain or had other symptoms that would require that much treatment. I did have a hole in one of my teeth which got filled at the appointment but I found this quite painful even after the anaesthetic. I'm not sure if that's common or not but it seemed rather rushed. They also managed to cut my tongue with one of the tools used during my cleaning which was very painful once I got home. They informed me that the fillings would could over a thousand pounds which is astronomical and I could not afford that. I paid £240 for the examination, cleaning and cavity treatment altogether which was a bit pricey but understandable. I informed them then that I could not afford the fillings and they told me it was important to get done so I felt quite pressured. Nevertheless I refused and went home with just the cavity filled. I decided to book an nhs dentist in rayners lane, and at the appointment they informed my teeth were in good shape and no fillings were needed! To me this feels very scummy and like I was taken advantage of just so they could get as much money as they could out of me. I was greatful for the cleaning and the cavity that was filled but to tell me I needed extensive and expensive work done when it was not needed is pretty appalling to me. I hope no one else has the experience I did and advise anyone looking for a dentist to find somewhere else that will give you honest treatment.

I am very happy with the service I received. I chipped my front tooth and they were able to see me very quickly and had appointments available in the evening. The filling they did was so good you wouldn’t even be able to notice I had chipped my tooth it looks so natural. They were also really friendly, I would highly recommend to anyone.

I don’t even know where to begin.
The worst and most disappointing “PRIVATE” dental practice. No sign of professionalism.

I brought a family member to this practice due to their previous horrifying experience with a previous dentist. Initially the receptionist speaks in such a manner that I assumed to give this place a chance. It was all well and said as we were going privately.
However, upon arrival the whole experience was horrifying not only did they make the filling that was damaged previously worse but also charged us £450 for it. The dentist himself has a awful attitude, no compassion, no care whatsoever!
When we dispute the price after the filling fell out after 1 week they didn’t try to resolve the issue and instead demanded even more payment to fix what they had made worse.
This happened around 3-4 months ago and I initially did not want to write a bad review as I did not want to damage a family business. However, my own member of the family was traumatised and left disrespected and uncared for so i realised the right thing for me was to write a review to prevent anybody else having to experience what my family went through.
They claim to be a private dentist with their hefty prices however they don’t even meet the expectations of a normal standard practice. My advise stay away from this place and the dentist with his disgraceful communication and lack of care for his patients.

I had a really good experience at this practice, my tooth had a root canal and procedure was done very well.

I needed an emergency appointment for my broken tooth, my mum called and we were booked for today (Sunday). The people in there were amazing and would definitely recommend this dentist for an emergency or as their regular dentist. They were friendly and made me feel at ease (I am petrified of dentists and that’s why I took my mum).
Also very informative with what I needed to have done and with no pressure. Thank you once again

The worst dental practice I’ve been too. Went for an extraction yet left me with a remaining root although I was lied to and told everything was removed. I had 2 X-rays from other dentists that confirmed this was not the case.
If you read the reviews this has happened to someone else too. Avoid like the plague.

I will say 10/10 for seeing me promptly out of hours at 9.15pm, however the dentist and the dental assistant were I am afraid to say intimidating in their assertion that I needed to have my back molar tooth extracted following my initial concern that my filling had come out Their assertion on an extraction to be undertaken that night was so intimidating and creepy I said no. I enquired if there was a temporary holding solution that could be employed they both said no. Bearing in mind that an initial assessment of my tooth was undertaken physically no X Ray was undertaken at that stage which I thought strange. Innately I thought that this was not right. Particularly as he advised that if i agreed to the extraction he would then undertake an xray. I believe that any physical examiner w would try and minimise that kind of full extraction at night. I politely refused and was charged £25 for the check up, which in truth was only fair.
I managed to secure an emergency appointment with my regular dentist today. Who undertook a thorough examination of my tooth and advised that an extraction would not be required. My Dentist also advised that as I had previously had root canal treatment on that same tooth
which would have been evident on physical examination, I was advised that an extraction was not necessary. I saved myself considerable pain and money. Quoted cost alone for an extraction was £285!! which would not have included any remedial work. As I said grateful for them to see me in an emergency, however I would not expect a Dental assistant to comment on what was medically required. This duo were gangster in their assertion re tooth extraction which I was really uncomfortable with.

Appointment made as an emergency last Sunday afternoon for my 86 year old mother who had a swollen face, was distressed and in a lot of pain. Dr Sayed and the nurse were both fantastic, dealt with my mother with the utmost of care and compassion.
The rotten tooth was removed and the follow up advice was clear and very helpful.
I would thoroughly recommend this dentist following our experience in difficult circumstances.
