I've been coming here for many years now. Jag is great and runs a high quality clinic. He has specialists on hand for a variety of needs from root canal to general hygiene and bonding (Hire is great). And Lena the reception manager is the best. Really caring and positive.

I have been a patient at this dental practice for over 22 years. Before I went there, I had a fear of dentists, having had 4 teeth taken out to fit braces. Jag is patient, friendly and puts your mind at ease. It's not local for me, but even though it's 5 miles away by bus, I still go.

Great dental practise, highly recommended, staff always friendly & helpful, the dentist has always gone out of his way to accommodate me & I'm an NHS patient.

I have been coming to Jag’s nhs clinic for years. Brilliant dentist. Always kind and considerate - eg when I have considered other (private) work he gives an estimate of cost, which is really helpful.

Highly recommend Jag! Best dentist I’ve had.

I really do not know what rating should be given to this dentist because:
*Dentist: He is professional but he is very stingy and money-loving and sees clients in the form of money and not in the form of patients.
*Nurse: She is very good and polite and has a friendly demeanor and is responsible and kind.
*Receptionist :she is very rude and aggressive and careless and boastful
So my opinion is 2

The poor reviews here are right! Dentist's first priority was vying for private cosmetic work. Hygenist was decent if a tad impatient but the main thing is they attempt to overcharge! Band 2 NHS treatment includes the check up but they tried to charge them both seperately meaning an extra 30 quid. Clearly that is their game here, and the only reason i managed to get an appointment so soon. Buyer beware!

I have a massive fear of dentists and I had a sensitivity in my tooth in December so I didn't do anything about it for a while, hoping it would go away with flossing. But then my lymph node got swollen so I knew I had an infection and couldn't waste any more time. Back then I didn't have an NHS dentist so I rang up a private dentist (House of Smiles). After doing an X-Ray they told me my tooth was dying, that I needed a root canal treatment and that it had to be done within the week or else I would get an ulcer in my gum. The total cost of the treatment was £1000+. They gave me antibiotics and urged me to take another appointment and give a deposit. I felt rushed and thankfully, I declined.

Without any private insurance, I panicked and googled all the NHS dentists around when I got a hold of Jag on the same night! Straight away his voice calmed me down. He had me in the next day and looked at the X-Ray and said he couldn't see the significant decay the other dentist mentioned. He ran an extra test on my tooth that the private dentist did not do (Electrical current) and concluded that my tooth was still alive, and that the infection was in my gum. He asked me to keep taking the antibiotics, making sure I flossed very well around that tooth, including using tooth picks. He told me to come back in 4 weeks to get a deep clean of my teeth & gum and that they would check again then if I still had pain.

And guess what, I followed his advice, and NO ULCER. My tooth is fine. My gum is fine. And I'm not out of pocket of £1000! So if you are one of these people that thinks private dental care is better than NHS dentists, think again ;)
