Cosmo Dental Practice

This is a well overdue 5 star review. I have experienced nothing but amazing service and I have been treated with such care ever since joining this practice. I have have terrible experiences at previous dentists but honestly the dentists at Cosmos have been amazing. Trust me, I really dislike dentists but when I tell you that the dentists here genuinely care about their patients it's incredible. Special shout out to the hygienist Riyan who made my hygiene session such bliss. She made me feel very comfortable and was so kind and my teeth have never felt better. Honestly I will be back and I will no longer be avoiding my 6 month check up and i will no longer be switching dentists as much as I use to.

Dentists are nothing short of amazing however the receptionists lack people skills and manners and seeing as they are the 1st people you make contact with you would expect them to at least pretend they want to help patients.
I am never seen at my appointment time as they are always running behind even though it never seems that busy when I attend. This dentist has potential to be great but the receptionist needs to be retrained or replaced!

The receptionists are awful. When I called to confirm my sons appointment I was told that I missed the appointment. I specifically asked for a certain time as I finish work at 2. She was so rude and said that I need to take it up with the receptionist who booked the appointment. I was trying to explain to her that thats not my fault. She called me aggressive and not to raise my voice to her. Trust me she would know if I raised my voice. She then proceeded to put the phone down on me!!! When she finally picked up the call I said can I please rearrange my sons appointment she said to not shout at her. What a utter joke. Rude and unprofessional.

I been a patient for many years, I’ve always been very well looked after by dr Shibani (sp?)

More recently I saw the hygienist Riyan who was incredible, both thorough and professional and empathetic to the underlying mental health issues that have impacted my dental health. Could not recommend enough.

Receptionist lady who was working 2pm Friday 19th august 2022 needs to learn manners. Extremely rude. They don’t do NHS work anyway and plenty of private places around the area who have well trained staff.

Receptionist: Overall, she was very curt and hostile to other patients. Either interrupting their conversations to ask for payments or initiating other conversations to cut off a patient she did not want to entertain anymore. Attitude is a little discriminatory to those who aren’t fluent in English.

Dental: I’ve never met an antsy dentist before. He sped through his speech and would constantly be moving about. Leaving doors open while I wait lying on the chair mid-check up. He was thorough with cleaning but not so much with scaling. I’ve never left a dental clinic with so much of my gums bleeding before. It was quite aggressive.

Clinic: The reception was clean. The room seemed organised but hygiene is questionable. I saw the assistant wipe down the chair and it was a quick swipe with a paper towel before the next patient. Which concerns me about the cleanliness of the tools.

Overall: Thought I should make judgements for myself but I guess the reviews were right. Also hidden costs.

I’ve never seen a rude receptionist like this, if you don’t like your job just quit no need to make the business look bad, don’t these people get monitored at all.

Excellent dental clinic, no shortage of service and very rapid and effective appointments. Dr Trevor Boodoosingh is superb at what he does, he makes patients feel safe, explains and carries procedures painlessly and goes the extra mile to make sure patients’ walk out with pristine teeth
