I've never been one to look forward to the dentist, but Purley Whites were great when I went to them in considerable pain. I ended up needing 2 fillings and a wisdom tooth out, however the process was quick and pretty much pain free. The service, and after-service, was fantastic too. Thanks Roxy.

Can't fault the dentist/hygienist but the admin side has has really gone down hill. One appointment not booked, the rescheduled appointment was booked for wrong time which I only discovered after a call from the dentist who called to ask my to change the appointment. That was rescheduled, then then the day before that appointment I had a call to tell me the appointment had to cancelled because the dentist was ill. Totally understand the rescheduling due to illness but I have been trying to get a successful check up since the beginning of November. Suffice to say I have registered to another dentist.

Excellent. Best dentist I have ever seen, I didn't even know the procedure was finished! I am 50 and scared of dentists but this experience was amazing... no pain, no fear, no uncomfortable moments! Mr Sid Persaud is an expert - gentle, informative, professional and also good humoured which puts you at ease. No problems. Good after care advice. I am astonished. Highly recommended.

I'm so disappointed in purley whites. I had heard they were the best but not in my case. Every single appointment i have had they were running late normally over half an hour. When I registered I had informed them of a rare blood condition that I have and that with every treatment I received I would need 24 hours worth of antibiotics before hand. This was also written on my notes (advised by docs) I had made an appointment as I had toothache and i was advised a hygienist appointment. I reminded the dentist (young guy not sure of he's name) of my condition and that I would need antibiotics beforehand. He reassured me he would personally keep in contact with me. Sort out my prescription make sure I collected them the day before etc. I never recieved a call never recieved a prescription.
Luckily the doctors had given me a back up. I turned up for my appointment and again for the 3rd time reminded them I hadn't recieved any antibiotics and how dangerous it can be for me.They weren't bothered and let the receptionists take the flack. I had already booked my sons appointment so was due back in a couple of weeks. So the final straw was turning up for my sons appointment last Thursday 25/7/19. We were about 7 mins late due to a road being closed in Croydon from a traffic accident. I apologised explained the situation and said I would wait around etc as were late or could come back later if it makes their life easier. They refused to see my son who's 5. They also sent the receptionist to tell me while the dental nurse looked round the door hiding. I was told it wasn't their problem I should rebook. My 5 year old was in tears and I asked to speak to the practice manager to be told he conviently wasn't there. Please dont use this practice. I feel so upset and even worse to build my son up for the dentist to not even be seen!

This dentist was good until they sold out to Gentle Dental. Since then I have had a terrible time with the dentist, hygienist, reception and telephone service. I left a Gentle Dental practice a few years ago because they just treat you like money on a conveyor belt and didn't care for my gums, they spent so much time trying to sell me teeth whitening and cosmetic procedures. This is how I now feel at Purley Whites, the dentist told me she is required to book NHS appointments at 5 minute intervals, that's ridiculous. I've found a new dentist who treats me like a person and offers me actual care and advice.

I visited Gentle Dental Care for the first time yesterday and even though I hadn't visited the dentist for years, I was immediately put at ease. The practice is the most modern and high-tech practice in Croydon the receptionist immediately put me at ease and the dentist herself was lovely and kept me calm. I now have a dental plan in place and know what I need to do to prevent further problems. Thank you so much for giving me confidence in the profession again

Left this dentist as fed up with private work being pushed on every visit!! Last straw was when i was told my 11 year old son's outstanding treatment that was cancelled due to covid can only be done now privately. We have registered with another dentist with an appointment tomorrow!

The person who answers the calls is very rude, she does not let the clients speak and besides, I have been waiting for almost a year for my children and me to be attended to. I make my appointment and when there is more or less 2 weeks left they cancel.
