Abbey Dental Barking

I came here after getting referred by 111. Absolutely disappointed! I came regarding food being stuck somewhere between my wisdom teeth and it causing me so much pain that I could feel my gums and teeth throbbing. They X-ray me. After the X-ray, she (the dentist) said she can’t see anything and that I should go get another procedure done, which would take me days or weeks to get. I asked several times to please check with your tools as I can feel pressure and pain and I just want them to use their tools to at lest try something as I’ve come here for help. She refused to look and kept saying the X-ray doesn’t show nothing so nothing is there. I was shocked, surprised and speechless at her lack of even trying to help me. She did nothing but made me feel as if I inconvenienced her and wasted her time. With her refusing to do anything to help me I just got up and left. I will NEVER recommend this place or come here ever again after this experience. It was a waste of my time and money. I had to endure the pain all day till my appointment for it to be a total waste of my time! Your practice needs to hire proper dentist whom have a desire and passion to actually listen and help patients! You took money and made me wait longer then the time I spent with your useless dentist. Rubbish service, thanks for nothing!

AVOID unless extremely desperate! I only registered with Abbey Dental Barking because I had recently moved into the area and was looking for a decent dentist. The dentists themselves are extremely polite and friendly (though the treatments are rushed), but the staff at reception have no understanding of how to adequately deal with clients. They don't seem to answer the phone lines and when one of their staff members mistakenly booked me an extra appointment (that I didn't ask for), I was being blamed for non-attendance, instead of their mistake being acknowledged and apologising. I'll be going elsewhere from now on.

Highly recommend Abbey Dental Practice.

The dentist is very very good and knowledgeable . He made us feel comfortable. Explained the treatment plan very well.
The reception ladies are also very helpful.

Receptionist was very rude on telephone when i tried to book in my son who has autism and severe heightened anxiety and does not attend regularly for this reason, stated only providing regular clients even though my son is registered. Managed to speak to another member of staff who booked in my son and was very understanding, dentist was fantastic and patient with my son.

Treatment with Rachel was great. The procedure was quick and painless and felt assured that i was in good hands.

Only downside to the practice is that reception never seem to answer their phones.

I've been going to Abbey Dental for over 20yrs now, and I've always found the staff here to be friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Doing and suggesting what's best for ME, not just what makes THEM more money.
I'd gladly recommended them to any/ everybody.

Awful. Yesterday I went to the practice they gave us a form and said to call them at 11am for new patients registration. Today, I have been trying to reach they for one and half hour! Every time your queue start from no.8 and when it get to end and you are about to next person to pickup call disconnected. Its happening over over. If you not pick you call why fake promise?

My first time at this dentist due to needing an emergency appointment. Very clean, and everyone was extremely friendly. Wish I was registered there. First class service
