Made my visit to the dentist a very comfortable experience. I’m usually not a big a fan of the dentist but the staff were lovely and the dentist Julia was very friendly and gentle. Her nurse Jess was welcoming, professional and informative. They are both a credit to the practice.

Phoned up at 08:20 for emergency treatment as broke tooth over the weekend and was offered an appointment at 10:40 that morning. The dentist I saw was friendly and welcoming and undertook the appropriate remedial action to repair the broken tooth. I was booked I to the same practise the following month to determine whether any further action is necessary.

First rate service all round, hence the 5* rating.

I have asked my daughter to act as a translator and scribe for this review as my own English speaking capabilities are insufficient to describe how disappointed I was today (25th October 2022) after my appointment. I will start by listing the positives.

I phoned regarding toothpain I was experiencing following a RCT procedure, and I was offered an emergency on the day appointment (which I honestly wasn't expecting but was pleasantly surprised and very grateful for, so sincere thanks for that). The reception staff I saw on the way in and out of my appointment were also very kind and helpful, so no issues there. In fact, most of the staff I saw today were great, including the dental nurse.

However, the dentist (unsure if she is a dental hygienist or surgeon) was, to put it lightly, subpar. Her work in and of itself was good quality, but her demeanour was unfortunately not. What I mean to say is I have never had any issues in any medical setting with poor bedside manner, but I guess there is a first time for everything. As I've stated, my English is quite poor, so my daughter translates and relays what I mean to say for me in most situations. It seems the dentist didn't take kindly to that, seeing that the first thing she did upon having my situation explained to her by my daughter was to heavily sigh, as though I'd somehow done her a huge disservice. On top of this, multiple times throughout the appointment she would speak over my daughter who was trying to translate what the dentist was saying to me, to the point where my daughter had to ask her (the dentist) to wait until she had finished with her translation before the dentist continued. It honestly seemed as though the dentist was in a rush to have us out of her room as soon as possible. She was condescending throughout the appointment, which even I gleaned from her tone alone, despite my broken English, so I can only imagine how enraged my daughter felt at her passive aggressiveness.

I'm unsure if this was just the result of said dentist having an especially bad day, but to take it out on your patient is surely unprofessional, and really left me feeling hurt, as I have never had any prior bad experiences with this dental practice. What I do know is that if, in future, I am given her as my dentist, I will respectfully ask to be assigned someone else, even if it means delaying the appointment. It's a shame I never got the dentist's name; all I know is that she was on the top floor, in the room to the left, but at least I know which room to avoid from now on. I would've given one star but I felt that that would be unfair on the other staff who were really lovely.

Hadn't been to a dentist for 10 years so, I was a bit nervous about going in.

My dentist was great. Very professional and polite. She explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable.

All the staff were really friendly and efficient. I was able to book my initial appointment and a follow up appointment quickly and easy.

The building is modern and clean. Feels more like going to a spa than a dentist!

Welcoming by all staff. Given full information about procedures, both administration and dental, so that I felt confident. Excellent experience, especially as it was my first visit.

Absolutely fantastic service everytime. The dentist's are polite, professional and welcoming. They always make you feel so good about yourself and are fantastic at putting nervous children at ease. I would recommend to anyone looking for an efficiently run dental practice.
