If you are scared of dentists or yours is the type that digs into your skull then all is not lost - this dentist OAKWOOD DENTAL SURGERY - is your saviour. Run by a fantastic and gentle dentist this practice is just what I was looking for. The staff are friendly and helpful and understand not all of us like going to the dentists.
But Simon has to be the gentlest dentist I have ever been too. He talks you through everything that is happening and puts you at ease.
If you are not happy with your current dentist YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR DENTIST! or if you have just moved to the area then don't think twice about registering with them.
Your smile is as important to them as it is to you!

Service as expected from a private dental surgery. However, they are very expensive. An unscheduled 10 minutes appointment, with no other customers in the surgery, just to put a drop of cement on a crown that had come off, they charged an unreasonably large fee plus an "urgent appointment" surcharge. Total charge of the drop of cement, 1/3 of the cost of a brand new crown, made and fitted! Not going back to that surgery. No surprise there were no other customers waiting.

From signing up and booking appointments was very easy with friendly staff, initial check up was thorough and informative also honest. I had not been to a dentist for around 10 years and had just chipped a tooth so I had expected a few fillings and some sort of repair but he was straight up about what was actually needed and I have just returned from one filling with a scale and polish and a 'see you next year'.
Very happy with the service and the actual procedure was virtually pain free, especially compared to my last two at another practice.

Definitely reccomend.

I have only recently started going to this dentistry and it is absolutely by far the best place to go. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a lovely receptionist, the man who checked over my teeth was also very lovely there was no harsh or uncomfortable moments at all when he was cleaning my teeth.unlike other places I have been to this has to be the best due to its calm atmosphere, amazing staff and service. They make you feel really welcome so I definitely recommend going here!

I think this is the first dentist I wasn't scared of. Very professional, friendly. Didn't try to force me into getting a treatment I did not want to take like other do which is seriously annoying. Already made a follow up appointment which took me not even 2 minutes to book. Definitely recommend.

I very rarely write reviews, but after experiencing years of being scared of dentists, (due to a past experience), I have finally found a dentist whose first priority is to put the patient at ease. The staff are very professional and I cannot fault the service I received at Oakwood.

Always very friendly, relaxed service at this dental practice. Referral to an orthodontist re braces was dealt with promptly and we got our consultation appointment through quickly.

This is the best dentist I've ever been too! Simon here makes you feel at ease everytime! Would highly recommend
