Clare Street Dental Centre

I have tried making contact, sent multiple emails regarding arranging a check up, I received an acknowledgement of my email and it said someone would be on contact, yet 4-6 weeks on and further emails, I have had no response.

Poor service for an existing customer.

Further update a month on - Still no response from the dental surgery, even though I have tried contacting multiple times, shocking service, probably not making contact due the review, however I will be referring this further!!

I would like to highlight that this dentistry is listed on the NHS website as accepting emergency and NHS patients. If you call and want a private appointment, there is no problem in arranging one. However, if you need an emergency NHS appointment, no change, quoting: We are very busy! And apparently, they are very sorry too! (which is only being polite). I think they should be removed from the NHS list, as there is no chance of getting an appointment there.

Booked a hygienist appointment and I mentioned that I have very sensitive teeth, because I told my sensitivity , He rushed me only polishing my front teeth with too much white substance , my cheeks were covered with this white paste. I stop him when he said he can’t remove some of the stains because of my sensitivity.
Never clean any where else between my teeth or gum.Mr Shazam Ali was my Hygienist that doing private treatment in the clinic. Very poor explanation too about how he will clean my teeth. Never seen something like that in my whole dental care experience.
The cost of the hygiene was 60pounds but when I explained what he did to receptionist they charged me 30 pounds. The receptionist lady was helpful and polite.

I've used this dentist 4 times now as an NHS patient. Receptionists are friendly and helpful and my dentist and hygienist are both excellent. It can take a while to get an appointment, but I'm just thankful that I have found an NHS dentist. Thank you Clare Street Dental!

Visited Clare street recently, had an emergency appointment, they got me in the same day. Reception staff really helpful. Treatment was fully explained to me. I was very anxious !! they put me at ease. Excellent practice, wouldn't think of going anywhere else !!

Katie is lovely and really gentle. I had a clean with Mr Ali too. He explained what he was going to do, made sure I was ok during the process. I felt a bit iffy at first but I hadn’t had a male dentist in a while so that’s why but it went well.

The best ever dental experience ever. The Dentist team, the Hygienist team and Reception team are all very patient centric. I would highly recommend Clare Street Dental Centre. You really have upped your game! Well done.

I am a very nervous dental patient and pity the dentist that gets me!
This was my first time at Smile Pad and admittedly it was only for a check up
They have restrictions in place for COVID
The receptionist was friendly
I sat and waited and couldn’t hear drills as you normally can in a waiting room so that helped me relax a bit
The dentist I was allocated ( sorry I was too nervous to remember her name) was lovely
I explained my nerves and she was reassuring.
She explained each step and I felt more relaxed

I have to return to see the hygienist but all in all it was a good as an dental experience can be

And I have had some pretty bad experiences too!

I recommend this practise 100%
