Orchard Cottage Dental

There are simply not enough words in the English dictionary to describe how wonderful this dentist practice is. To describe me as having a severe nervousness of a dentist is by no means an exaggeration - so much so that I had not visited a dentist in over 10 years. I needed an emergency appointment for a fairly developed infection and from the moment I walked into the practice, I was made to feel at ease and was introduced to my dentist, Shah. She took all the time I needed, worked at my pace and provided what I can only describe as world class service. Shah made me feel so at ease that I've had over 10 visits in 3 months (having been too afraid to visit once in over ten years). Simply put, Shah, is without doubt the most amazing dentist you could ever ever wish for. She calmed my nerves and made the experience of visiting so easy. To be so well looked after I could never have imagined - Shah even goes personally out of her way to call me several days later to check on my wellbeing and progress. If you are at all anxious or nervous of the dentist, please let Shah look after you. I must also add a special mention to the dental nurse (Tirzah) and the practice manager (Karolina) - both exceptional people with the most amazing care. Thank you Shah for everything you've done for me. I can't recommend you highly enough.

Lovely team of dentists, nurses and receptionists. Shahista is such a lovely and kind lady and takes amazing care of the entire family, making us all feel well looked after. Luke is super cool and thorough and always leaves my teeth feeling sparkling.

I have always been ‘apprehensive’ (to put it mildly!) about visits to the dentist after some really bad experiences in the past, but after three sessions with Shaz (Dr Begum) I can honestly say I now walk in to the surgery with a smile on my face.
The treatment I have received is absolutely first class; two pretty major fillings and an extraction and all completely pain-free.
Details of the problems and proposed treatments were shared with me so I felt part of the process rather than just someone with dental issues.
For anyone looking for expert dental treatment delivered in a caring manner I cannot recommend Dr Begum at Orchard Cottage highly enough.
