Townes & Townes Dental Practice

Townes and Townes staff are great. From the dentists, the dental nurses, the hygienist and the receptionist. On arrival you're greeted by an always happy smiling receptionist. The dental nurses who assist the dentist always seem happy. I usually see Philip Townes and he always explains what he is doing and what needs to be done. I have seen Mrs Townes once for a filling when Philip was unable to go into the surgery and she is as good as Philip and just as lovely and reassuring.

I am a nervous patient and I’ve never “liked” the dentist. But I “love” Townes and Townes. I feel calm, relaxed, safe, informed, supported and I’m always met with a positive, happy team. I fully recommend this highly professional practice.

After losing my NHS dentist, I set about to find a new dentist.
After research, I just felt this was the one for me. On ringing the surgery I was answered by Jackie and then I knew it was definitely the right decision. So lovely to be greeted in such a warm way and given all the necessary information in a clear manner.
I have been treated by Philip and Sinead. I am a nervous patient but both put me at ease. Very friendly and caring approach from them.
I am already recommending the Practice.

Being ex-military people and having had 13 house moves in 33 years, we have had several dentists over the years and I can say that the service you get at Townes & Townes is amazing - you can’t ask for a better dental service; from the moment you walk in their front door, being greeted by Jackie with her warm smile and easy chat to put you at your ease to Phil (our dentist) with all his wonderful knowledge that he willingly imparts and Sinnead (our hygienist) she makes attending a hygiene appointment a pleasure. Their professionalism and knowledge they give you to keep you on track with your teeth is second to none. Our daughter has a severe needle phobia and trust is a huge part of a dental service (she’s 28)..she has vowed to go nowhere else and will travel back from wherever she is to attend her dental appointments. Thank you for being there…5 stars doesn’t cover your service.

I have been a patient at Townes and Townes for 25 + years. They offer excellent dental and hygienist care and Jackie on reception always makes the whole experience a pleasure. They have a great team team led by very competent and professional dentists.

So glad I switched to Townes. First class in every respect. Easily the best I’ve ever used. Everything explained calmly and clearly, all staff friendly and helpful.

This is a lovely homely surgery. Everyone is so nice and helpful. All mod cons which helps the patient to understand what exactly is going on and all procedures are explained in detail. A very caring and empathetic Practice.

I came to this dental clinic 2 years ago, when I moved from Bristol and used the hygienist's treatments here every 6 months.
Yesterday, by email they have had cancelled my next hygienist appointment and kicked out of the clinic because I do my dental care in another dental practice in Bristol (for almost 9 years actually)
The owner/dentist should learn to respect and care about people, not select them !
