Mydentist, Ashley Road, Epsom

I have been improving my dental health with My Dentist Epsom for 3 years now.
My experience so far has been very positive. All staff members are friendly and helpful . Just as an NHS patient I get as much care and attention as I need from my dentist 'Wishy' she is great and I am so grateful 🙏 ... recommended dental practice!!

Called ‘my dentist’ yesterday and spoke to Natasha I asked for a NHS appointment for my 16 year who has been registered at this practice since she was a toddler in fact my whole family are registered here, however I was told that unfortunately they could not see her as she hadn’t had an appointment for sometime and was no longer registered with them and they where full to there capacity to be able to take anymore NHS PATIENTS, but then when on to say that she could have a private appointment the next day for a fee of £80!
But let’s just remember what Natasha said ‘we are full to our capacity? ‘
I find this very disappointing as after lock down, you would think it was a good idea to only go to the dentist when one had to leaving space for people that really needed the appointments, however it seems I’m wrong I should have booked a pointless appointment to save her NHS space.
I think this is outrageous
I asked to speak to the manageress. It turned out Natasha says she was the manageress and there was nothing she could do about the situation because it was NHS POLICY? (A policy changed only recently so She says)
So I politely asked if she had sent me notification ie: letter/ email regarding the changes and explaining my daughter could loose her NHS registration, out of care and being good professional practice, which Natasha promptly replied ‘they didn’t have to do that’
I’m sure if I ran my business in this way it would not last five minutes,
however I’m not a dentist and I don’t take my clients for granted

Over covid my daughter developed extreme anxiety and it was difficult enough to get her to the orthodontic appointments which by the way your practice referred her to!
She only had her braces taken off a 3 days ago and now you won’t see her!
I would have thought that after covid you wouldn’t want people to make unneeded appointments so you could get through your back log of patients needing treatment, so therefore my review still stands you should have let us know that my daughter was going to loss her place if she you didn't here from her.
I think this is completely unreasonable and very unprofessional!

Really friendly great dentist . I hate the dentist and they make me feel calm and comfortable. Explain all treatment if necessary and great advice. Highly recommend

I have quite bad anxiety around dentists, Sheliza is one of the most caring people I have met! When I got into the room and explained my nervousness, she calmed me down, talked me through the check up and cleaning process, in a follow up appointment she remembered my interests. I cannot recommend them enough, their customer service is wonderful and Sheliza is a fantastic dentist.

I am a super nervous patient. Have not had any work done without sedation since I was 18. Sheliza has put me so at ease and she even has me looking forward to my appts. I cannot praise her enough.

Really good experience at this dentist. Rachel at the reception was very friendly and helped me scheduling the appointment on time. The dentist named Rhee who saw me this morning was polite, professional, courteous and did a great job. I would highly recommend this practice as a whole.

After being in severe pain and calling nhs 111 called round to a number of dentists and these were the only ones who could get me in within 30 mins. Brilliant thank you
