Westdale Dental

I went in for an x-ray which resulted in the extraction of my upper left wisdom tooth. I sincerely wish I'd have gotten the names of the dentist and his assistant so I could personally name them in this review.

I told them about my disabilities and mental health issues and they were extremely patient, compassionate and understand and ive never had such a painless needle in my mouth before (I actually thanked him whilst my mouth was going numb!).

I would wholeheartedly recommend this practice. It was clean, everyone was kind and I was told what was happening every step of the was as a means of calming my anxiety. I was well informed and ive never felt so positive about an extraction before!

Very warm welcome from Fiona ..on reception when I arrived. Didn’t have to wait long to be seen..very polite dental nurse who escorted me to treatment room and Gillian the dentist put me at ease, explained everything clearly and gave different options for treatment..certainly recommend!

Extremely efficient and helpful staff.
My practice dentist is very good at making you feel relaxed and comfortable when having treatment.

FIRST CLASS PRACTICE.......
I feel privileged to have been a patient of the dental surgery for 38 years. All the staff are consistently extremely courteous and helpful and always do their best for you. I want to give a special mention to my dentist Caroline Lynk, who recently went above and beyond with her time, empathy and patience, to help with two problem molars!
So a massive 👍👍 and thanks to all at Westdale Dental.

I cannot rate this Dental Practice highly enough. As a patient of Chris Newton I have always received excellent care and in his absence recently I very nervously had to see someone else. I honestly needn't have worried. I saw Caroline Lynk who put me straight at ease and looked after me perfectly throughout my course of treatment. I admit I'm not the best patient owing to a terrible dentist I visited as a child at a different surgery which left me traumatised, however in the 20+ years that I've been a patient at Westdale Dental I have always received excellent care from everyone there. They've not only looked after me but also my children and now my grandchildren so I know they're all in very safe hands. I would recommend this Dental Practice to anyone; you won't find one better.

I was refered here from my own dentist as I needed to have some tricky extractions that my dentist could not do. What can I say? Absolutely brilliant service. I am not a good patient. But the dentist and nurse were so welcoming and put me at ease. The dentist explained everything and was very reassuring. The whole process was less stressful than I had imagined. I would call them the "A" team. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I have just been here today for two extractions as a referral from my own dentist. I was feeling nervous about the whole thing, but I can honestly say I felt totally informed about the decisions to make about one particular tooth, everything was explained from what is going to happen, possible things during the process, what was being done as and when it was done. Aftercare explained well and I felt reassured and cared for throughout. Surprised at how quick it took and I can now rest at home with no achey tooth. The dentist and nurse checked on me throughout from walking through the door to leaving, I am 100% happy.

After being referred from my dentist for a complicated extraction I was so nervous, but the moment I walked in the dentist is was so friendly the lady on reception was lovely.didn't wait long then I was called in .both the dentist and assistant was amazing.
