John G. Plummer & Associates Dental Surgeons - Costessey

I've been with plummers for around 20 years and they are by far the best dentists I've ever had. They are always able to fit me and my family in at short notice and go above and beyond to look after our teeth, even sorting out problems i didnt know could be solved. In a time where dentists are getting bad press, I feel extremely lucky to be with such a brilliant practice.

As always, all the staff at Costessey practice are very kind, welcoming and professional and they provide extremely high standards of care. We are extremely grateful to them for looking after us so well in these difficult times. Very many thanks to them all.

Despite a mistake about the time of my appointment , which was not my fault, I was seen and treated expertly for a broken tooth. It would have been quicker to remove it but the dentist took the trouble to try and save it. I have been going to this practice for many years and cannot recommend them too highly.

The reception staff always seem to be helpful and friendly, (regardless of how difficult that role must be at times!).

The dental team are very personable and have treated my 6 year old (I was specifically impressed) and the rest of us very respectfully and in a way that puts us at ease.

Was seen today with an emergency appointment. Dr Shah explained what she was doing throughout the procedure and she had a very calming and friendly manner, which really helped as I get quite anxious when having dental treatment. One thing that could be improved is the booking system. I was told to phone at 8.40 and I tried 12 times to get through but each time as soon as the call was put through I was hung up on, probably as the receptionist was on another line. Maybe a system where you go into a queue would work better? But once I got through I managed to get an appointment. So all good.

Fantastic dentist surgery. My dentist Biran goes above and beyond to look after me with my ongoing treatment due to medical conditions. He is patient and extremely knowledgeable. He is also brilliant with my daughter who now has no fear of going to the dentist! Reception staff are friendly and efficient.

I would highly recommend this practice for nhs and private patient care.
From the excellent customer service and a very helpful and understanding practice manager, to the extremely professional care given from the dentists and such good aftercare and advice. I was extremely apprehensive after being with another practice for many years and going from private to nhs care plus having anxiety and mobility issues but I would confidently direct anybody here. I’m also going to book for some work with their private practice, faces and smiles at Thorpe with no worries at all. Outstanding on all counts
