I called to make an appointment as a new customer and I spoke to a woman called Laura - who was so rude and aggressive. Possibly the worst customer service I have ever received.
I decided not to go ahead with making an appointment as I didn’t want to spend money there! Imagine the little care she would give your teeth if she couldn’t be bothered with your phone call…

Just like to say that I have always had very positive treatments at Hill House Dental Care. The staff are friendly and helpful. My dentist Simon Charlesworth is excellent and would explain/advise whatever best treatment available so I can make an informed choice. He is also very gentle and skilled, so my dental treatment is usually pain free. The place is spotlessly clean and equipment up to date. I have total trust in them and would recommend them to my family and friends.

My thanks and compliments to Hill House, in particular the Dentist Andrei who has been wonderful in seeing to my daughter's dental needs in preparation for Orthodontic work.

Unfortunately, at the beginning of December I had very bad toothache under a crown so contacted the practice as my wife and I are registered patients.
The receptionists were very helpful in fitting me in and I saw two separate Dentists the last one inserting a dressing which helped ease the situation. He advised I would need a Root Canal procedure.
On both of those visits I naturally fully explained the problem that had lead to seeing them.
Mid December we were both scheduled for a Check-up so we advised Reception that if need be I alone would use both appointments to have my tooth attended to.
I went into the surgery to see our Dentist who had not been advised of the problems I had been going through so I spent most of the time re-explaining what had transpired which I found to be very lax and a tad unprofessional.
The Check-up time consisted solely of me explaining what should have been already in the system and, to my chagrin, I was charged for the Check-up which was not carried out.
I then found another Dentist who has carried out the procedure.
My feeling is that in BUPA's case money comes first, patient care second and the patient is viewed as their own ATM.

I can’t express how belittled I felt when I visited last week after an ongoing tooth issue. To be fair I had always received good care and a good manner but after Friday 4 Feb 2022 will NEVER go back.
I was faced with a dentist who spoke to me in front of two receptionists with contempt and a receptionist who was exceptionally rude! She had no time for me and treated me like I was a child! I’m 46!

Katie on reception is fabulous and Andrei very caring and considerate but without mentioning names my dentist was, condescending and belittling- very upset and can’t believe how I was spoken to.
I’m now in so much pain but would rather deal with that then this practice!!
A private dentist with much to learn about manners and professional tone! Disgusted

I have never had anything other than the most excellent service from these good people. The receptionists are polite and professional, the hygienist takes great pride in her work, and the dentist, Mike, has always looked after me. I understand he is retiring and I wish him a long and happy retirement.

Terrible! If I could rate minus stars I would. We were quoted a price before we went for the appointment (a major reason we chose them), but on getting there the price went up 300%. I pointed it out to the dentist, and he told me he's new and not familiar with the pricing. He said he'd consult with the manager and give me a call. It's been over a week, and I'm still waiting... receptionist was rude too.
