Bupa Dental Care Merrow

I am not one to write reviews but if this helps people to decide on a dentist I feel it necessary to write. I had been a patient at this practice for 14 years but over the past few years I became fed up with the constant change of companies and along with it, dentists and staff, never really knowing who was my dentist or nurse each time I visited.
Additionally the interior, although this should not matter but strangely they seem to have squashed in another surgery and now the reception is so small and the whole look is pretty cheap and poor. It used to have a very professional entrance with separate waiting room, a room to be quiet and read a magazine but now it looks more like a makeshift cupboard with very little room for patients and receptionist, actually almost nose to nose! No room to swing a cat! I wouldn’t mind if treatment costs were reduced but they have been increased.
Finally I was very glad I decided to change to another practice as when asking for my X-rays to be forwarded to myself or my new dentist, nothing happened for several weeks. In the end I collected them. This practice do not appear to be very efficient in communication.
So glad I have left this shambles.

I have been using this dental practice for the last 10 years and even though it has undergone significant changes with regard to staff and interior design over the last few years, I feel that the existing and new members of staff are really helpful and professional. I will definitely continue to use this practice.

We have been coming here for years. The staff have changed and we will miss Keith, but the level of attention and care received today from Dr Shwaita Sood was excellent. Thank you. Good luck with getting the decorating finished.

A once really good dental surgery has simply lost its way. Sad that Keith is not there anymore. He was first class. Oasis then BUPA taking over does not instil confidence. Will be looking elsewhere.

The negative reviews here don't match my experience at all - been coming with my toddler and we're both very happy! Receptionist and dentist (Emma) both very welcoming - my daughter was a bit wary on her first visit but much happier since. Emma took the time to help her relax, even put Peppa Pig on a screen as a distraction while her teeth were checked over. Each time we booked our next appointment as we left and the receptionist was very accommodating with our tricky scheduling. Would happily recommend them.

I was with Keith for years and was very sad that he retired, but had an appointment with a new dentist - Emma Haselden who was great, so I am happy to stick with this practice.

Amazing experience, Raj couldn't have been more professional and kind to my daughters. Thank you also to Hetal on reception who kindly stayed late after her shift to assist so that my chipped tooth could be repaired. The whole team really care, are very skilled and provide a great service.
