Gentle Dental

Absolutely amazing.

My whole life I had terrible experiences with NHS dentists and actually had my teeth ruined by them. Finally I thought its time we get this sorted and decided to visit Gentle Dental.

I have always been so anxious about detist visits and embarrassed by my teeth but they made me feel so comfortable and like there is no judgement.

I have never felt so relaxed in a dentist chair like I do here! (I've nearly fallen asleep in the chair!!)

I would highly recommend visiting this dentist!

I like to think me and the staff have formed a lovely friendship and I feel so welcome every time I visit.

If I could give a million stars I would!!

As a new patient to this clinic and not a fan of dentist I obviously went there with a not the most positive frame of mind. However, I must say this is the best dentist I have ever been too in fact so good I needed to write this review.

Biggest thanks goes to Karenn Helmnichne and her assistant for the amazing work & kindness that came with it. They were very informative, gentle, kind and understanding & in turn I felt no pain, discomfort and had few good laughs :)

If you looking for a new dentist and like myself "not a fan", try this place you will not regret it !

I started my Invisalign treatment with Rob from Gentle Dental back in May and I knew from the get-go that I was going to only ever be treated with kindness and patience, from Taryn and Laura on reception, to Niamh, Karenn and Rob and the lovely assistants who I sadly can't recall their names right now, but by no means less thankful for. Basically the whole team.

A special thank you goes to Karenn Helmnichne, who has genuinely cured my intense fear of fillings. I put off the dentist for years due to a bad experience from years ago at a different practice. The whole team make sure they're aware of any troubles, ailments and fears you may have, and make genuine time to see how they can help you. Karenn was so patient, accommodating, kind and comforting to me when getting my fillings done, that it made me feel so at ease. Being 'gentle' dentistry, the drill (sorry if that's not the accurate tooling word) they use while doing the fillings is a lot quieter and greatly reduced in vibration, so it is a much more pleasant experience. Karenn went through every step of what she was doing and even after she had a long hard day, she didn't make me feel rushed or like I was being a hindrance with the patience I needed.

Lovely team, lovely atmosphere and will be my new dentist from now on, wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Highly recommended.

After years of awful dental phobia I can honestly say I nearly enjoy going to the dentist! Niamh and Rob make be feel in total control of my treatment and explain everything they are doing. They are so patient, give me lots of breaks and never make me feel silly. I've had some extensive work done over the last 12 months and I'm very happy with the outcome. I can't thank them and the whole team enough.

I had an appointment today and this is the first time in my life that I wasn’t frightened to attend a dental appointment. My previous two visits completely put me at ease, and everything was explained in detail. All the staff are really helpful and friendly. Finding this dental practice has been a revelation, and although it may sound extremely gushing I’m so amazed that I have been able to calmly go to the dentist! Thank you Rob, Niamh and staff.

Amazing dentist! Niamh and Rob always offer incredible service and professionalism. The staff are very friendly and work around your schedule to make an appointment fit. I always come away feeling confident that my teeth have been thoroughly looked after.

Well, after a life long phobia of dentists (50 years) I decided to get it sorted. Gentle Dental was recommended to me by a friend. Long story short, and only after a few visits, I think I can say I am over my phobia thanks to this team. Not only that but I am looking forward to the rest of my treatment (never thought I would be saying that) and being able to smile again. I cannot recommend Gentle Dental enough! Thanks guys:)

Appointment earlier today with Niamh, the hygienist. Exceptional service and certainly ranks as my most enjoyable treatment session…ever. From the moment you walk through the door to the completion of the treatment, the customer service received from team at Gentle Dental is second to none. I cannot recommend this team highly enough.
