Very slow. Waited a long time for my item which was way over the estimated time given on the receipt. It does appear very short staff here. Argos on the London Road is a better choice. Staff are friendly though

I don't normally review shops but this shop has rude blunt and unhelpful staff that need training in customer services. I purchased two fitness watches today on black Friday event on click and collect that morning but It was only when I discovered the black friday brouchure instore that had an offer on that I felt robbed of twenty pound so I took my receipt and leaflet back to shop as the offer started that day when I ordered. When I brought the issue up with the cashier she was defensive from the off and clearly made it my fault and said I must of done it the night before and why didn't I pick it up when I paid. With the cashier still indenial looking through leaflet when it was clearly in writing in front of her she then refused to acknowledge that I had been over charged and made me wait an hour for their computers to be rebooted. When asked to talk to the manager she was reluctant to help. Totally unacceptable service I won't be going back to this store.

This has to be the worst Argos I have ever been in RUDE staff
I stood looking to buy a watch stood there for 5 mins 3 or 4 staff over the other side chatting about what they did and what was going to do on new years. I asked if I could look at 200 pound watch. The woman walked over and said ......
I have to buy the watch first to look at it ...
I said but it's here in the display glass She tutted
No I have to pay Then look
I said what if I don't like it ???
She said we have to refund the money which will take a few day
I said but it there, pointing my finger at the watch ....
She just tutted and walked off ....
SACK THE LOT OF THEM if you don't want to work leave

I bought a microwave from Argos and it did not work properly. I took it back hoping to exchange it with a better product. But staff refused to refund it and did not allow me to exchange it with another microwave. It was no use to me since it did not do what I intended to use it for hence I left it at counter without a refund.

DO NOT BUY ANY ELECTRIC PRODUCTS FROM ARGOS.

Argos return policy is, if the item is used they will not refund even if the product has defects!!! DO NOT SAY YOU HAVE USED IT if you are planning to return and refund your purchase.

Bad service. I bought a TV from Argos and after 1 day I go back to exchange but they said that I can’t exchange it because I already open the box. ( if I’m not open the box, how could I know any problem inside?)

Bought a clock radio the box had been opened and contents had been unpacked. Explained item was gift and asked for an alternative one. Jackie the manager told me I would have to queue up again and get refund and reorder. Asked her could she not just swap it over and she refused. Queued up again for refund and realised that Jackie has given me another customers receipt. Thankfully I had an email receipt otherwise I seriously think the extremely rude manager Jackie would have also refused me a refund. Went and bought my gift from a different retailer.

I don't usually review store(rather products if at all), but this time I just need to mention the staff on High Street shop. They really need some customer service training plus some of them need to check their spelling skills. I spelled my full name and said my mobile nr. Number by number. And they still got both of them wrong! That meant that the delivery driver can't contact with me about the delivery and it has caused alot of unnecessary stress and problems to everyone involved.
