Argos Bulwell

Nice update to the store. Should have updated the staff too. Very very slow. On several occasions I've ended up waiting 10 mins+ for my item, when I can see it sat on the wrack, and completely ignored when I've stepped forward and tried to grab someone's attention.
And a note to the overall company, stop asking for our post codes and email addresses... I'm just trying to by a cheep toaster.. u don't need to no my whole life.

Didn't have my item I was told to come and pick up.. they just told me that the delivery driver didn't bother to turn up"
Said they couldn't refund me cash to get another that day because they want aloud.
Then the computers didn't work properly so they ended up giving me a cash refund anyway and that's after I stood my ground and argued with the manager.

Always had good experiences with this branch. Staff polite and helpful also saves a trip into town. Car parking a bit limited unless you pick your time but Tescos and wilko are either side so there is parking there.

Absolutely appalling. Ordered water speakers on click and collect and they were given to me in a broken box. Tried them out at home, turns out the back of the speaker was broken. Took them back, was given a new set. Worked for about 2 weeks and then broke again.
A few months later, ordered a fit bit. Was given to me in again, a broken box.
Absolutely appalling will NOT be shopping here again.

The only Argos I shop at due to the refurb, refuse to shop at any other.
Love the use of tablets, makes it easier to find what I want, rather than using the thick catalogue.
Store is spacious, everytime I've been it's never been crowded.
Have never waited longer than 10 mins.

Parking spaces. Friendly staff.

The lady that served me was very helpful and friendly, I was getting a suitcase last minute and was struggling to use the touch screen to find what I was after, it would've been a much more stressful experience without her..

Horrific customer service. Bought a telly that turned out to be faulty straight out the box. Took it back to store the very next day only to be told that they can't do anything and to ring customer services. They refused to comply with the Consumer Rights Act which states faulty goods can be returned for exchange or refund within 30 days. I ended up having to go to another Argos to get my money back-complete waste of time and totally unnecessary. I've never had so much hassle returning a faulty item anywhere and after this experience I shall not risk buying from the Bulwell store again.
