The Service was terrible one person cashiering who was completing some forms with a customer so the rest of the queue had to wait till that was completed which took 20 mins so everyone was very upset because then you would have to wait another 20 mins for your goods to arrive. It is practically like this everytime i go in there so i dont use that store very often even tho it is my local one. I then think time has passed the service must of improved but then feel disapointed that it hasn't. This has been going on for years.

Worst customer service ever from the manager- Devon. Absolutely no customer service skills and arrogant as if she owns the store.

Needs some additional training and needs to be taught how to deal with customers. Can’t believe a manager thinks it’s ok to gossip about customers infront of their faces.

Will be making a formal complaint to the head office and won’t ever be going back to this store again! So many other local Argos stores with better service and appreciation for their customers who basically pay their wages.

Worst Argos experience I have ever experienced. I was served by TSM who simply just wanted me out of the store within minutes. I had bought a phone for my mother from the store a day before, on taking it home we realised the was a fault with the volume key. I took the phone back into store to return within the 24 hour period and was advised it could not be returned as the phone had been inserted with a sim (used!). I explained the phone itself had a fault, all packaging etc was intact.
TSM lacked any customer service and was very abrupt in his approach. Staff need more training, will not be returning to this store again.
May I add yes I know due to the corona virus outbreak it has been difficult for many businesses, however denying someone their right of a return based on a faulty product to keep a sale is morally wrong!

From the reviews I have read it is evident that Argos need to do better. Devon the manager has questionable experience and has shown to be awful in their position

Argos is useless I ordered the bed but they didn't say u got to buy the mattress separately the at staff should ask if u need a mattress the staff on the phone not ok

Ordered two new phone chargers. Collected and went home. When I opened the bag it turned out that the staff had provided one phone charger and one phone cable. I then had to drive off back to Argos to request the correct product. Frustrating as it should not off happened when they ask you for your receipt and check the product and quantity.

Long queue, slow service, rude staff, unprofessional behaviour. Customer jump queues, staff ignored you whilst you are obviously waiting and standing in front ofbthe counter.

Ordered a photo frame and it was broken, ordered the second one, it was broken too. To the staff and showed them the product. Shouldnt have resale it but ended up getting the same broken one.

Complete rubbish service. Now heading to my third return, thats really stupid.

These guys are bringing down the name of Argos. I bought a henry hoover and returned it within 2 days. There was a fault with the suction. Devon (the argos manager was so rude and so bad at handling the situation, it took 3 numatic employees to explain to her that the customer has the right to return a product if its faulty. Joe ( the manager for sainsburys) as this is an argos in sainsburys, was no better. Both 'managers' tried to keep me from getting my refund. I was there for almost 3 hours trying to get my refund back. Do not shop here, this is why high street stores are going down the drain, and people are switching to online. To the Argos staff at this branch, you are an embarrassment, i understand retail jobs at your age sucks, but you have a brand and name to uphold. If you don't want to do the job, then leave.
