Frustrating! I had the unfortunate experience of having to contact Customer Services as I wished to return a faulty item bought on line and "clicked and collected" at one of the stores. All I wanted to know was whether I should wash the item before bringing it back - but held on for absolutely AGES (probably 20/25 minutes) which did not auger well for good customer service/relations nor my patience. My call was finally answered and the young lady was surprised I had had to wait so long as she said "I did not know we were that busy!" (I wonder how much the call has cost me).

It is easy to order on line and choices are good but beware if things go wrong and you need to contact Customer Services or the branch you clicked and collected from, you will be in for a very long and frustrating wait!
I would advise thinking twice before "clicking" on Debenhams!

I went with my partner to buy some new clothes for her. The lady that processed my order at the till gave good customer service and seemed genuinely interested in her work. I did notice that there was a large selection of novelty gifts for both adults and children which will come in handy at xmas. Overall I had a pleasant trip to the store and will go back again in the future.

Great selection of Men's shoes and got a great quality suitcase. Good layout and with a Nandos attached it's idea to visit and get a bite to eat. Well worth the visit as prices were very reasonable.

Went with my sister to buy my niece a present.

When I visited at Christmas I was surprised at how much wasted space there was inside. From the outside it looks huge but inside the upper mezzanine floor is only half the depth of downstairs because of the central escalators. I couldn't find what I was looking for as, there wasn't much stock in store and what they had was all spread out, (the lingerie area was disproportionately huge) and online there was vastly more choice. As I was looking for coats wasn't paying much attention but I think it seemed to have 2 cafes inside.

The store was really quiet and there were a few colleagues who were standing around talking. There were some empty shelves which could have been filled, and there were some bottles of fragrances which were there for show, with little or no samples in them. Overall it was a average store, but it would have been nice to be approached and asked if we needed help, and there would be an effort to making the store look nicer. We may have spent more time and possibly bought what we ended up buying from elsewhere!

First Visit to Debenhams flagship store . I was supporting a lady with a mild learning disability, she purchased some ankle boots she also bought a necklace from the jewellery section with 25% off the boots. 30% off on some of the other ranges. Always nice to bag a bargain. First impression Lovely store very big to navigate.. staff were very helpful towards us. Looking forward to visting again next time I'm in Watford

The widest range of mens coats in town good prices too. Shame they always had the make up and scents near the entrance it put me off exploring further. The womens clothes are good too.
