Ever since lock down Argos service is going down the hill.
Using app. Said order and collect right away(not tomorrow morning!!!). So I ordered, got app notification to pick it up right away, but text message does not say so,but see it only az the store, I have to actually go back the next day.
When asked the guy at the door he was rude and just said he only works at the door and don't really care what's on web or app...
Had many other issue since lock down, so I think will start using different methods to buy gifts toys and equipments, maybe Amazon...
If app and web sais order and collect right away as it is checking stock live, then why it's not ready? Its misleading and false advert which is against law. Anyway Im thinking to cancel that order and get it through Amazon which delivers next day for free with Prime so why should I rely on Argos????

Argos Thank you for delivering my sons Christmas present ( table tennis table ) , my son received delivery of the huge box telling him what it was on the side . Guess he doesn’t believe in Santa anymore .

Wouldn’t give my nine year old daughter her money back on a game that turns out you have to play online. She can’t play it. I have the receipt and returned it within three hours. They said that doesn’t mean anything. Really poor. Tesco would take it back in a heartbeat.

I was looking for a fridge freezer. The woman on the till was helpful but I didn't like that she had to take my name, address and telephone number just to check when the next possible delivery date would be.
This was prior to me ordering anything. Surely a postcode would have been suffucient?

Linda was extremely friendly with a huge smile and let me unpack my item so I could fit it in my bag. And helped me find my QR code. Linda is boss, give her a promotion!

If i could give the store zero stars I would
Bought an item to help the pain in my back, Used it twice and made it worse. I tried to return it to store as it was unfit for purpose and was refused a refund as the item was used even though it was fully packaged and returned within the week. The store manager was unhelpful and condescending, making me feel like an idiot for buying an expensive product. After stating that I wanted to take this higher he finally gave me a number to call to raise a claim. When I called the number the operator informed me there was nothing they could do as they only deal with online orders and that I would have to write a letter to one of their offices.
This whole experience has completely completely ruined my confidence in purchasing from them again.

Wanted to buy a treadmill from Argos. Item in stock but, not eligible for delivery neither is it eligible for collection!.. So basically, it's in stock but, we cannot buy it!. So now, we're buying from Amazon!
