Just had my new shower delivered, opened the box to find a lampshade??? called customer services and was told" the one you ordered was out of stock so we've sent you a similar item" they had my telephone number and could have called to explain and refunded me without a problem, however I now have to wait for their mistake to be collected and a further 7-10 working days for a refund.. Top service No... Use again No...Satisfied with explanation. No..0/10 Must try harder, If I treated my customers with such laughable contempt I would be out of business, but Argos play a numbers game where they can afford to lose some because of the high volume of customers.

Ordered a mattress for my disabled partner for home delivery which did not turn up. After various excuses and dishonesty about calling back to help I am left in the dark as to what is going on!! The earliest alternative delivery date was five days after the expected delivery and am now left without sleeping facilities. The in store managers although very helpful have been so far unable to get a suitable answer from their colleagues who have lied constantly about calling back. The worst experience I have ever had with a retailer, the waiting time on the customer services line is over an hour. Utterly disgraceful.

This Argos is always quiet and the service is very quick, a fast track counter is available but the usual service is just as fast, I recommend this store over the one in Stevenage, the store does not have computer touch screens but instead uses catologues and stock checker pads.

We have had the worse experience with the ARGOS, which is highly unacceptable and we will not place any orders with ARGOS in the future. The customer services department at ARGOS is very unhelpful, inefficient and rude.

A faulty Fridgemaster fridge was delivered twice from AGROS and for the third delivery the driver updated the status as 'delivery failed' without even attempting to deliver our item. WQhen trying to contact the delivery driver, he is not reachable. Even the delivery company is not getting any response from the driver for over an hour now. This is poor management.

We had placed this order more than 2 months ago and are still waiting for the item to be delivered. We are not sure whether ARGOS will ever manage to deliver our item in a usable/good condition or not. We had to book a day off from work for the third time to ensure we are at home to accept the delivery and are still left with no item. Highly inconvenient and unacceptable standard of service.

I would not recommend to buy anything from ARGOS if they are delivering to you, The courier company has not take care of our item and delivered it damaged and faulty every time. Really frustrating, not having fridge freezer since last 2 months.

Had a good experience purchasing a product there. The staff were helpful and answered my queries about the product.

Honestly it's an Argos, it has it's niche but the issue here is that there is often literally no staff at the checkout area and you just kind of stand there for a while. When the staff are there they are fine, it's just a matter of waiting an unknown amount of time for them to notice you're there or kind of just start shouting "Can anyone hear me? Is anyone there?", which frankly, is a nightmare.

Very poor customer service. I recently purchased a tumble drier from this store. Only when I arrived in store to collect the tumble drier was I told that there was no facility to help get it to my car parked three floors below. The only advice offered by staff was to put it on top of a shopping trolley. This was not only a health and safety risk to me but also other customers.
