Rude Staff called Catarina, now am not surprised about the staff attitude after I saw the Staines store review.
Wanted to return Christmas tree which looked so empty on the15th of Dec (obviously before the day it is supposed to be used on), just because I showed her a picture how it looks like when I opened it, she insisted that it has been used and didn’t want to return it, I said if I didn’t show you the picture, you would have returned it, said probably yes.
Stupid.

Really friendly and helpful staff I purchased a switch lite what was faulty took it back the next day and they exchanged it for me straight away much better than certain other shops

Sunday afternoon, hardly anyone in the shop. 4 cashier sitting around, chatting. Took 10 mins to get my order, and I was second in line.

I bought a set of sports Bluetooth headphones, the ones that fit around your ears, at a cost of £25.. all good until I got them home and found that they didn’t fit my ears, so I decided to take them back as they have a 30 day no quibble returns policy, only to be told they can’t refund me because of health reasons They had been on my ears🤷‍♂️, I told the salesperson that how would I know unless I put them on if they fit, but they still refused to refund me🤬.. Argos needs to sort out their returns policy because it’s not worth the paper it’s written on.. this will be the last time I ever shop at Argos!!! The staff and the manager was very rude and very unhelpful!!!

Terrible customer service from the MANAGER himself this evening -- no manners and respect for his customers. I was trying to explain the reason that I had asked for a return/swap due to an item being unsuitable (with everything still intact/no damage). The manager had the nerve to insinuate that I was 'stupid' so he plugged in the machine and kept yapping that the product works -- when that was not the reason I came in for. He then proceeded to interrupt me whilst I tried to explain to him the issue and would not listen to what I had to say.

Perhaps some training in grace and decorum would do your manager some good.

Rang up Argos directly and a lovely lady sorted out the issue -- no quibbles, simple return and refund completed.

If I could give Zero stars I would.
I went there for a simple exchange as the product I bought was unsatisfactory and wanted to change for something better.
The manager, Adeyinnka, was so incredibly rude, he talked over me when I was trying to explain why I’d like to exchange it, refused to listen, tried to belittle me by turning the product on and saying it works but still refusing to listen to why I felt the product wasn’t meeting standards.
I would also like to mention he was wearing an airpod the entire time, and then proceeded to say to me “are we done I have other customers”, acting as if I wasn’t a valid customer in store.
It shocks me that a person with this attitude is a manager.

Thankfully spoke to a lovely lady in customer service who organised a refund for me, I don’t have her name but I’m grateful I was able to speak to someone friendly and helpful.
