Better off using Amazon. This store staff are not helpful, don't put the customer first.

I had a heavy item to collect, so I pulled around the back of the store to put it in my car boot.

No sooner had a parked than the rear door flew open and an Argos staff member came out guns blazing about o can't park there, "this is for management only!" She blasted at me.

A little stunned I tried to explain why I had pulled up but she didn't care.

I then asked if it was for management why were there four cars already parkd out here, surely they can't all be managers? Again, she didn't care.

There's plenty of space back there and you should put the customer first. If you let your staff park there all day you should at least let customers park there for 5 minutes while they pick things up.

Next time I'll go to Amazon, at least their staff don't yell at you.

Monday 5th feb collected a unitl excellent customer service person (later found out to be manager) very helpful brought to my car that was in Wilkos car park. Great shame I had to return item as was damaged on 6th Feb to be greeted by arrogant customer services at the back door, then overheard her complaining about me in the store to colleagues. Also girl at the till was rude - no apology by any of them.

Contacted the store today to be informed the man whom brought over the item to the car was in fact the store manager. it is a great shame this store has a manager that goes over and above the call of excellent customer service - for two members of staff to completely ruin what he did.

Great shame that he wasn't in the store yesterday to witness the actions of his poor staff.

Walked in no staff to direct you (due to covid restrictions) until I walked further to be reprimanded for "just walking in" apparently you can't just do that. Unfortunately no signage or staff to tell you otherwise. Very angry right now. Badly managed. 20 mins later still waiting. The staff member who reprimanded me hadn't put my order through. Don't have a go at someone when you can't do you job yourself!!

Absolutely shocked that they could let this happen. Clearly swapping out expensive items for cheap ones. I purchased a £129.99 headset and in the box was a £15 headset that they sell. Not even new, they have dirt all over the wires. Wonder how many times the staff have done this. Heartbroken and guaranteed to not go there again...:(

Waste of time being an eBay access point when they refuse delivery from the couriers for items. IF YOU CANT DEAL WITH BEING A COLLECTION POINT STOP BEING ONE!

If thinking of using Argos Burton on Trent for delivery of your Ebay items, think again ! I bypassed the courier company and hand delivered a parcel for collection as I was local, so I know the plate was intact. My buyer on collection reported the parcel crushed and found the contents smashed. Clearly an Argos issue that I had to refund !!!
