I returned a phone that I had purchased 7 months before, and was not working properly. These days, this is a customers worse nightmare, because in most shops when returning goods, you are met with attitude and long faces. Thank you to the staff at the Hucknall store, for making my return a lovely experience. The assistant was so kind to me, and helpful in me choosing another phone, I nearly needed smelling salts. Instead of being the dreadful experience customers get used to these days, I was met with a smile, kindness, helpfulness, and a feeling that nothing would have been any trouble at all. I left the store elated and with a new phone. I would like to say Thank you, and to let you know that Argos will now be my priority when purchasing anything. I ordered a sound bar on click and collect. Argos is 5 mins from my house. Gave my order number as I hadn't paid yet. 2 mins waiting. Paid for it. Back home and had it up and running 5 mins later... Excellent service also gave good advice at the till about cables HDMI leads etc... Hucknall store.....J

I couldn't believe how rude Tash was. If you want staff who think it's ok to humiliate a customer in front of other customers shop here. Personally, I will never shop there again. So much for trying to support the high street, most of what I used to buy from Argos will be bought online in future where customer service includes courtesy and mutual respect.

Incredibly rude staff. I got my consumer rights 'half right', at which point the manager told me 'not to quote your consumer rights when you are wrong' and he 'knew all about them'. Good job I knew something, or I would have been walking out with the faulty product and left to contact the manufacturer myself.
If the staff have zero respect for their customers, then online every time.

Very slow. Ordered and paid online arrived queued for 20 minutes finally got my item

Poor customer service here as I arrived to collect my click and collect order, which was paid for in advance, gave the reference number then was asked to show my Argos card, yet I had left this at home as I don't carry it in my wallet as I only use it for online purchases.
I showed my I.D but this is not good enough apparently, I'm not blaming the staff member as she was nice and polite.
It's the system that's wrong.
I travelled 8 miles to collect this and now won't bother returning

Not very happy. Came to tbe store today and was made to feel like a lepper. Im exempt from masks with three exempt medical conditions. One of the ladies (presuming manager) took a giant step back when i came to the till and told me to step back, i wasnt even close. I took literally half a step back (probably a few inches) which had little distance and carried on with the transaction. Her continued attitude was not acceptable and i left having a major panic attack in my car. This is not acceptable and i may seek advice for disability discrimination. Reply would be appreciated. Customer service for Argos is non existent! Constantly going in a loop on line £6.00 a min on the phone. Thank goodness for Lindsay and the team at Hucknall took all of 5 minutes to have my problem resolved item replaced all with a smile and nothing to much trouble. Thank you :-)
