Argos Kettering Shopping Park

Useful store, easy to pop into to pick up reserved items on the way home without having to drive into town.

Lots of parking, just off A14, open late and self serve terminals.

Staff numbers are a bit low but always helpful.

Great local Argos branch, with very friendly and helpful staff who will help carry your goods to your car and happily sort out any problems at the till. Have used both counter and self-service. Fairly fast collection times depending on how busy the store is. Have had all the items I wanted in stock across multiple visits.

Recently refurbished. As with any Argos efficient as long as you use the click and collect service. Queues can be long at peak hours, but once paid for items at collection points quickly. Staff are always polite and helpful. Free parking outside on the retail park.

It is a quick way of shopping for electrical goods or other items. I like reserving items from home and using the shop as a pick up point. I do sometimes get annoyed at computer errors "we don't have your stock!" When I go to the till my phone says item ready but store computer shows nothing. On the other hand I once ordered a pressure washer on a Sunday and it was delivered at 9pm that night. I was impressed as it was Sunday night. Would recommend.

Had a few issues here. A friend brought an online gift for my son. The gift was faulty so I tried to return it. As it was guite an expensive gift and they had none in stock so I requested a refund back to my friends card so they did not think we were trying to get money from them. Argos staff think that refunding back to card used to pay with online would be fraud as I did not have their card with me despite most other retailers operating in that way. Difficult as they live abroad. Terrible and arrogant customer service. I will only use Argos as a last resort. Now I have a gift card with a lot of money on it and nothing I want from Argos. Talk about rip off.

Great range of products. Competitive prices. Great service. Gone are the blue plastic keypads to let you know of stock levels. In come tablet style touch screens and these really speed up the ordering process. Very easy, intuitive and fast. Follow the on screen prompts. Just quote your order reference at the cash desk and pay. So easy. So quick. Got my order in less than a minute. Brilliant and simple.

Really good store. Only problem that I encountered was that I ordered the item from the screen, then went to till to pay, to be told to go back to pay at the screen, although screen option chosen by me was to pay at till! Only cash and vouchers accepted by the till, card transactions at the screen, although this wasn't clear on the screen initially!

Couldn't recomend the new member of staff more highly, I was looking for a new telly and he filled me in on your range and how to spread the cost, couldn't remember his name which is embarrassing. I think it began with a V, blonde - very helpful.
