Awful service. Ordered through deliveroo but they use their own drivers.....1 hour late. When I called they told me it was due to traffic. Their shop is 10 minutes down the road. I was hoping the quality of cakes would be worth the wait but sadly not. Rather stodgy and the icing far too sweet. Wasn't worth the hassle

Delivery is always a bit of a wait but its always worth it 🙂 The cakes are amazing! The Oreo Red Velvet is my favourite. I've been regularly ordering since August 2020 and so far I've never had a slice of cake that I didn't love.

The cakes from here are delicious and the variety is amazing. Everyone I've introduced to this store absolutely loves the cakes.
The issue is with the delivery. Although advertised on Deliveroo, it is the store that actually delivers.
I waited over two hours for my order, without any contact from the store even though it states 15-20mins delivery. When it arrived, an item was missing. Driver said to call the store but I am unable to find the number online.
I have ordered a few times and can honestly say that you will never receive the order in 15-20mins. It's always well over an hour.

What a disgrace! Booked through Deliveroo, and only then did I see the poor reviews this joke of a company has, and rightfully so. They offer delivery within 15-20min, but what they don't mention is that their driver (in a car) takes multiple deliveries out at once. Also you cannot track driver on the app, which defeats the purpose of being on Deliveroo. I needed a delivery urgently as the business was closing at 17:00 and ordered at 15:55.
The last update I heard was that it would be delivered at 17:30.

VERY POOR SERVICE- LATE DELIVERY, RUDE AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOOD WAS AWFUL

Unfortunately it’s not possible to give zero stars as this place does not deserve a single star just as the other posters have said ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!

I too waited 2 hours for my order. And to make matters worse when I called to enquire after an hour and a half the lady on the phone was so outright rude and unbothered. No apologies for the delay, she’s trying to blame the weather, wasn’t even interested in checking my details and whether the driver was definitely in the way. She just said your order will be delivered in about 10 minutes. So obviously at 20 minutes still nothing and I tried to call multiple times but calls were going unanswered. Then she eventually calls back and asks for confirmation of my post code as the driver was lost 😡😡. And she had the cheek to say Deliveroo gave wrong details yet just earlier that afternoon and the night before I had a deliveries with no problem and never have any Deliveroo drivers complained about wrong address. And besides if she had clarified that with me earlier on we wouldn’t be where we were. So driver finally arrived 2 hours later. And then to add insult to injury the good was absolutely disgusting. Awful dry tasteless not fit to be eaten and was such a let dirk after waiting to hours for it. We took a bite and just threw away the rest.

So they have no redeeming factors at all- late delivery, (and at no point was there an apology), rude and poor customer service and awful tasting cakes.

Needless to say I will NEVER EVER be ordering from them again will 😡😡😡

So i placed an order for a blue and vanilla velvet along with the caramel coffee walnut velvet, and patiently waited to treat myself on a Friday. 30/04 i waited close to 45mins. having chased with Deliveroo i was told the driver will be with me in 13mins, 20mins passed only to recieve an update saying it had been delivered. i never received my cake slices and upon calling the shop, it rang for quite some time and went voicemail. Deliveroo tired contacting them but go no response. To think this was my first time ordering i will never make this mistake again. bad customer service and day light robbery!!

NEVER AGAIN!! honestly I get having an off day but I've never ordered from a service where they've charged me and both the shop and Deliveroo wouldn't get back in contact with me for a refund. i ordered from the Lewisham store and waited for 1hr 20 before calling. i was told it would arrive in 15 mins, its now 3hrs 30 mins later and they are no longer picking up and Deliveroo is also having problems so its all problematic. looking at some of these reviews I'm not surprised but i am genuinely upset/annoyed that this has happened.

Ordered yesterday via deliveroo at 7:50pm - it said 'around 10mins'. At 8:10pm it was marked as out for delivery but at 8:30pm the shop rang me saying one item was out of stock and what did i want instead. They then said it was now on its way to me. By 9:30pm I rang the number back as the order still hadn't arrived and she said the driver was stuck in traffic. I asked how on earth he could be stuck in traffic for 1hr considering their shop was only 1.5miles away from me, at which point they got quite rude. They confirmed the order had been cancelled and told me to contact deliveroo for a refund but when I checked the app the next morning, it had been marked as delivered by the company. Now deliveroo can't reach them on the phone. THIS COMPANY ARE LIARS AND SCAMMERS.
