Waited in a Q for 20 minutes to be told they can’t check to see if a payment went through, the training really needs to step up a gear. A company we all pay so much to for such poor services is amazing. How do you get away with it.

Just seen a report about folkestone council removing decorations from a babies grave, absolutely disgusting! Special place in hell for people like that, I'm trying to get the day off work so I can attend on the 9th of August, please let baby Eva rest in peace, scumbags.

The council owned Folca building in Sandgate Road Folkestone has a very loud alarm which frequently switches on causing loss of sleep and disturbance. Have phoned many times to complain.

So here is a 'public service' which spends its entire time finding ways to NOT deliver a service while trying to exploit as much money out of its customers as possible. Inadvertantly added a condition in planning conditions that should not be there in the first place and they charge nearly £300 to correct their error. Ordered a garden waste serice (£80) and after nearly 9 weeks, it is still not delivered and no response to my formal complaint. Proabably the worse council in the country and they get away with it every time. Outragous.

Our bins were supposed to be emptied on Tuesday but we were missed. Called today (Thursday) to inform the team about it and the man I spoke to, after being on hold for 30 minutes, told me that I was too late to report it so I will have to wait until next week to get it emptied. When I asked him about the excess bags, ect he told me to employ a waste contractor despite already having paid council tax to have the bin emptied. Absolutely ridiculous attitude and policy!

I was encouraged after explaining my situation to apply for a discretionary rent payment due to not receiving my deposit from my last property.
I applied, they took one day to reject my application on grounds which are not described as being a reason for a payment.
How can you make an appropriate application if they do not make explicit the grounds on which you can apply.
Instead they want you to prove homelessness instead of the likelihood of this happening.
I am appalled at the tone staff take when you challenge rules which are not written, to them you are a leach, they are better than you because they are not asking for help.
They are judgmental and self righteous to those that need the support they are paid to provide.
I have witnesses this so often throughout my years in social housing, they are completely missing the point being without people being in social housing and needing support they would not be in employment!
Start thinking of these people as your customers whose council tax pays your salary, not as problems to be dismissed as quickly and abruptly as possible.

Absolutely disgusting. Parking services penalty given to a support care worker who was on call and had an emergency. A patient needed hospital treatment and an appointment had been made during the pandemic, a taxi had been called and was awaiting the carer when he arrived at the address. The carer parked up and took charge of the patient who also suffers mental health, was in severe pain, and very distressed on his arrival and the sick man was then taken to hospital. On his return, the carer had then noticed a parking penalty, he looked around as it had not been clearly signed and in the circumstances had simply thought firstly of the patient. He then appealed the penalty and Mrs Lisa Burton, the case officer or (parasite), had agreed to cancel the parking fee due to the circumstances (and rightly so), but then changed her mind a week later and decided that this carer should have left the patient and hunted around for a non permit parking area before aiding the poor individual. The case was then escalated to the Traffic penalty tribunal where a Sharon Davies had asked for more evidence, a letter from the employer confirming the hospital visit was attached. This then went to the adjudication officer, (apparently independent), and a Maggie Kennedy, (more pond life), ruled in the councils favour and actually praised these two parasites for their conduct. Lisa Burton, Sharon Davies, and Maggie Kennedy, you are disgusting human beings and i only hope someone has to make the same decision for you at some point in your life when you need urgent care. The car was not obstructing any thing at all and was simply parked in a council profit making area, it was not clearly signed, and this man needed urgent hospital treatment. I am disgusted but not surprised by the outcome. It is well worth the £70.00 to have the satisfaction of naming such scum. I wonder if these three jokers were applauding our care workers and NHS staff before then stabbing them in the backs. What are your thoughts.?. Should he have thought of the council before this patient.??.
