Poor customer service
Visited the council offices with my uncle who has slight problems understanding English and i found the staff to be quite rude and unsupportive. This is not the first time i have felt like this we always feel rushed and spoken down to. I left very upset yesterday as i felt like my uncle was penalised when he could not answer the questions they were asking properly. Key term in customer Service includes having the ability to listen to customers and have an understanding towards them and their needs. This was not represented yesterday and its shameful, we are not immigrants we have been born in this country and my uncle worked long hard hours and paid taxes for many many years and did not deserve the treatment yesterday. Appalling.

Very unsympathetic jobsworth attitude attitude on parking. I parked in a proper parking space while visiting an optician in Oadby. Was there less than 1/2 hr, but had to return later to a different proper space about 300 yards away for 2 mins to drop off a paper prescription. Left the motor running, and my sister in law in the car, and a warden issued a ticket without even talking to my sister in law. They rejected an appeal. The enforcement authority is Leicestershire County Council, so I'm not sure who exactly is responsible.

Spend most of your time on hold. They don't keep previous call logs and asked me to name the person I spoke to before. Whilst setting up an account I was asked for my details to set up a direct debit, but this hadn't been logged or used in my application. Quite worrying as now someone external who I don't know could potentially have my bank details.

Absolutely shocking! Employing incapable and rude bin men lying threw there teeth to cover up how lazy they really are! Refused to empty my bin because of my street being blocked however, after refusing to walk 5 meters to get my bin, I then offered to take the Bin to him. They ignored me thought they were funny and swore at me! Disgusted. Rang the office to be told and made to feel like I'm lying saying 'well they have CCTV on the Van's so we will know what's happened' saying they will get a bin man down today but then never showed! I pay £120.00 a month for council tax for this!!! 😡😡😡😡😡

Called to find out if wheelie bin locks were available and was brushed off with no no we don't. Asked if they knew any stockist answerNO. not helpful and not the first time I've come across bad customer service face to face and on the phone. Wigston Council your staff are incredibly rude

I recycle the best i can and you don't help us by not taking away the excess rubbish away at Christmas? which has now filled my bin up again? So what am supposed to do about next weeks rubbish? drop it at your office?

Awful service. I rang at 12.30 and after waiting a minute the automated machine said we are closed for lunch. What happened to councils ‘working round the clock’ during this pandemic. I think senior management need to ring the number themselves and go through the process themselves to experience how frustrating it is. But will they? Doubt it

Hi everybody check your recycling because if you have one bit of plastic in it which isn't right they will not take your bin or come back and empty it when you take out the plastic. It is funny I thought I cancel was supposed to work for us with the amount of council tax we pay.
I have checked to Day and the plastic out what is in the bin is recycle and have checked on oadby and Wigston council list for recycle goods.
