I love this shop, not only are the staff so helpful, supportive even, but being in it surrounded by all the tools and DIY kit, gives me a sense of being so capable, with limitless potential to 'get stuff done'. It's a bit like when watching Scandi Noir on the telly with subtitles, I feel fluent in Norwegian slang. There is nothing so empowering as leaving this place with a pot of vinyl soft sheen and a roller. Highly recommended.

Disappointing. Bought an item on my card and then pointed out I had been charged the wrong price (mismatch between the shelf label and their system). That’s ok - these things happen. However, staff did a very poor job of putting it right. Insisted they could only give cash which is no good for me. What really frustrated me is having clearly said I don’t want cash, they repeatedly challenged it, said “I could go to my bank to lodge it”, and at one stage walked over to me carrying the cash despite what I’ve clearly said! Also, I said I was happy to wait until after the weekend for it to be resolved, but supervisor was unwilling to give me a note to record what happened. Fingers crossed they resolve this without me chasing them.

Excellent service! The staff are really attentive

I have been today, 3 staff members on the floor only one working . 2 young guys behind the counter talking each other and showing a minimum of customer service, no good morning no thank you no please. In my business ,I would consider these 2 guys a liability not at an asset. But I cannot blame them if there is no a proper management there to train these guys.

Great customer service from the staff, which involved one of their staff stopping on his way to work to pick up paint from another branch ( during a tube strike!) So our decorator could finish the job on time instead of having to wait a couple of days. Lovely friendly staff and very professional. Nothing was too much trouble for the manager Holly and Paul . Thank you!

I popped in to get some sample pots and was served by Simone who was not only very welcoming but also very knowledgeable. She offered charming service and I left the shop understanding more about different paint finishes than I did when I walked in! So refreshing to have such a great level of service. Please support your local shops!
