B&Q Cwmbran

Good sized B&Q, but not one of the supersized ones so some stuff not stocked. Usual selection of B&Q merchandise and not too far to walk between sections. WiFi works well. Car park can get congested as it's shared with other stores and has a one way system. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Went in for a fan. Only one left and it was the display one. Was keen to purchase for the old people's home up the road, but manager said no, wait two days they'll be more stock. Two days is a long wait when trying to keep elderly pepes cool. Lazy store. Not customer focussed. Very disappointed 😞

Great selection of DIY materials and tools, you name it. I love going there early in the morning, when it's quiet. Staff there can give good advice. The girls at the till are not so friendly

Went to see their range of gargen sheds. There were two that didn't inspire me. I'm assuming the shed showroom is at a different B&Q. Obviously plenty available on line, but I wanted to see them up..

With friendly staff and a well laid out store this was a very positive shopping experience overall.
Free customer WiFi is a big bonus as you get to price check really easily.
Mostly B&Q prices are keen and competitive.
On some stuff like hardware it's worth a quick check against screwfix. Saved myself a bundle on a trade pack of screws.
Can't beat it for convenience.
It's a bit unusual that you have to drive past and come back on yourself if approaching from Ebbw direction. But parking is plentiful, well spaced and free.
My only complaint on the day would be the low stock levels on some items.
I was here to help my Daughter and son in law with their new place and found myself having to compromise to get the job done as the stuff I wanted was not in stock.

Really don't like the self service. Made to feel like a criminal with the camera scanner on your face. I imagine you do get people steeling and often these days but not everyone is. For anything who says well if you're not doing anything wrong you shouldn't worry about it. Take a long look at yourself and the state of things today due to lack of trust. Keep humans in work I say.

Picked up some gas for my blow lamp went to till to pay one serving one helping the self service tills more better she served on another till
So l put down the gas and walked out first time l.v walked out of b q bad service

Fantastic customer service, very helpful staff, covid safe, will be visiting again. Very friendly staff and helpful. Popped in for door bar, staff helped me find them, I couldn't find them. 😂 Thank you for helping me. 🌻
