Since the self serve tills have been installed its not a good experience. Only one till open for cash payments, and its often not staffed. Then customers make errors or need assistance on the self service tills making everything slower. Please open tills with staff. Your new system is a joke....the shop staff do their best and Im sure are getting abuse from some frustrated people. Please sort it...

B&Q have unfortunately joined the unemployment trend of self checkouts... attended on the 8th October and had issues with the checkout I used (even though the screen nexto it said cash and card apparenetly you can only pay cash on one till). 4 staff stood around talking near the checkouts but none actually working. Think it will be a trip to screwfix or tool station next time.

All good except those stupid new self service check out tills. In time I'm sure they will be beneficial but currently not so.

I rang ahead concerning any Black Friday deals on electric fires. Advised they had several on special offer. Arriving at the store the black Friday deals were only on the lower price range , not good believable examples + very plastic and not ,sadly , on the fire I had my eye on. Hey ho, that's life.

came on holiday to rhyl from skegness and was looking for a nice long hard slab of wood, i asked several employees for assitance and i was ignored, i was heartbroke, but then out of no where my saviour the one the only little boy named rory had come out the trenches and assisted me, this boy helped if you see him give him a little kiss, and a thank you

I visited the store in Rhyl yesterday for a kitchen Design appointment with Sam as I am planning to update my old kitchen (also a B& Q one which is still going strong some 35 years later!). I can't thank him and the other staff I saw enough for their efficiency, friendliness and hard work. Sam went through every detail and was patient and very efficient, giving good advise about designs and making suggestions about installation, discounts etc. The designs he skilfully created on the PC gave an excellent interpretation of how my new kitchen would look and we were able to change colours, styles and various elements to show different ranges, worktops, tiles etc. Tina too was so lovely, providing coffee and a selection of biscuits throughout my appointment. I was emailed the designs at a very reasonable and affordable cost and will be making plans to purchase from B & Q as soon as I am able to and hopefully with the 25% discount.
Many Thanks Sam and all the team -I will be in touch!
