I must congratulation Angela for her help in sorting a recent order I placed. She was extremely helpful, polite, showed excellent customer care skills AND rang me back when she said she would.
The delivery man, sorry I don't have your name, was exceptionally helpful and polite.
Thank you BOTH, your help has been greatly appreciated.

Good store with garden centre to compare.
Not so keen on garden tools, as if you want quality, such as Felco, or Wolf, are better going to the smaller family centres. Everything else that you need they have and so far never had any problems with them.

Based on my last visit, I'm very surprised this store is still open.
I had contact with a number of staff and most were incredibly moody.
First of all, they advertise online and outside the store, that they have a cafe, so I was hoping to get a coffee, and rest my legs - but there is no cafe. When I pointed out to staff that they are still advertising they have one & have a massive sign in the car park referring to it, they just shrugged their shoulders and said I could easily go elsewhere.
That's easy for them perhaps, but I'm disabled, and couldn't walk to the other cafés in the area. I'd particularly chosen to go to Swansea B&Q because they had a cafe, and it makes it more possible for me to walk around the shop, with a rest in between.
They seem to have no intention in changing either the online information, or removing the massive sign outside.
I collected an order, and 4 baskets that I had ordered looked very shabby, and not anything like they looked online. So I very pleasantly asked the assistant if she would do a refund for me, and she replied incredibly sarcastic, saying that it wasn't her fault, and she didn't take the photos herself. Very uncalled for!

She reluctantly checked stock of other baskets for me, after much huffing & puffing, and gave me the isle number to collect.

The baskets in question were stored about 12 feet up, in the over-storage area, so I had to ask a member of staff if someone could get them down for me. She huffed and puffed, and reluctantly rang for someone.

The guy who arrived said he couldn't do it straight away, as he had sawing jobs to do. I explained I was disabled, and couldn't stand a further 15 or 20 mins till he came back, so he reluctantly got them down. It took him about 2 mins!

Payment was self service, which I am not very good at, or keen on, but all that was available. Luckily, a very nice assistant helped me there, who was very pleasant indeed.

I had purchased a shelving unit which was very heavy, so thought I would ask the male staff member reorganising the trollies if he would give me a hand. But when I called out, 'Excuse me' he literally ran away, and into the store, so that he wouldn't have to help. He literally ran!

Luckily a member of the public helped me, and was extremely kind and pleasant.

When I got home I noticed the packaging was a bit battered, and upon opening, discovered the shelving unit was bashed and damaged on one of the corners.

I couldn't bear to have to package it up, take it back, and put up with more sarcasm and moodiness from the staff, so I've kept the unit, which was pretty expensive for what it was.

I really wished I'd ordered a delivery from IKEA or something from Wayfair, as I've had fantastic service from both of them, in the recent past.

I definitely won't be rushing back to Swansea B&Q. I'd have to be very, very desperate to go back there.

Took a roll of wallpaper back and was told by a young assistant they cannot accept returns and that it has to be returned to manufacturer. Drove all the way back home, contacted manufacturer only to be told to take it to B&Q! Returned once again and it was accepted without question. I feel the young staff at this store need more training on how to deal with the general public instead of giving out the wrong information.

They have everything you need under one roof. If they don't stock it, they will either see when shipment is due or suggest a place where you can.

Staff are friendly and helpful and patient. Whilst there, there was a lady who was shouting at a member of staff ( who couldn't help them anyway). The staff member remained calm and collected the whole time.

We have been using the store for years for various projects on our house. We can normally get most things from here but have had to go online for some items. Some items can be pricey in comparison to shops online. The staff that I have spoken to have been friendly and normally are very helpful. There is now no cafe, but there is a small garden centre and trade centre. Plenty of parking but getting in and out of the shopping park can be a pain when it is busy esp at weekends.
