Poor Timekeeping, falsification of arrival & departure times in log book. No PPE equipment often used eg Plastic Aprons etc. Overcharging for visits. Charging for 2 carers when on occasion only 1 showed up. (Once due to adverse weather conditions and once whilst 1 out of 2 booked carers bunked off to go look at purchasing a car). Not wearing professional clothing or uniforms, often in ‘street wear’ and ‘Bling’ (Male Carers). Not sure if suitably qualified but seemed to be family and friends roped in to cover shifts. Speaking to each other in their non-English language in front of client. No rapport or friendliness with client. On one occasion no cares had shown up after an hour and several phone calls made to find out when they would be coming, promised call backs never came, however on this occasion a Supervisor was due to visit, which she did and said to my sick friend ‘Shall I call the office to chase them or will you’!, You couldn’t make this up. Surely if a Supervisor turns up and the carers have not arrived an hour after they are meant to, it’s their job to call the office and chase, not load pressure onto the sick client and expect them to! A mobile phone went missing, but cannot pin it down to which carer it was so not pursuing it. They work out of serviced offices in a business park and do not come down and see you if you go and visit, you have to speak via the receptionists phone at the front desk. 1 month after terminating their contact no final Invoice had been received. Visited their offices to request an itemised in detail statement / invoice. Nothing received for 7 months then one arrives mid October claiming it had been raised in March and issued in August although nothing ever received during this time. Going through invoice and matching with log entries to weed out all the overcharging and to work out what the actual Invoice should be. Now a male is persistently ringing my sick friend pressing him for payment. This Company needs serious investigation by the CQC, it is beyond a joke.

Had this company in for my aunt for end of life care I can't even describe how disgusted I am in what they think is acceptable after 3 days had to change them I would never recommended this company to anybody one star is far to much for them

Wandle have looked after my mother in law for the past two years. The carers have made a huge improvement to her life and have enabled her to stay in her own home. We are both very happy with the agency. They always keep us updated when carers are running late and if there is going to be any changes

Very good and reliable carers. We have been using Wandle for the past 3 months a few hiccups at the beginning other than this, nothing but compliments.
