Absolutely terrible surgery, staff member was very rude and unprofessional, impossible to get hold of on the phone, staff don’t answer or your waiting over 30mins for the phone to be answered and their appointment booking system is terrible, was told today I have to wait 2 weeks for a face to face appointment. Don’t bother with this surgery.

I have been a patient for over twenty years and I couldn"t be happier with the care I have received from both Dr Ghufoor and Dr Hussain

Been registered at this GP Surgery for 25+ years and in all honesty, I have never had a bad experience with them up until today. Sent in a prescription request over a week ago and it was not actioned. Called and spoke to a very rude receptionist. She refused to give me her name, HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME whilst I was talking. I called back again, refused to give me her name (only wanted her first name) proceeded to keep telling me she doesn’t deal with prescriptions (again in all honesty, as much sympathy as I may have towards them, this is not my problem). I work in the NHS myself & I wouldn’t dare to speak to my patients like this! Absolutely ridiculous.

I have sympathy with the Practice Manager and Admin staff as it seems the practice is run for the benefit of the doctors not patients.

Given mental health is supposed to be on an equal footing with general health the practice is very challenging to deal with just in terms of dealing with repeat prescriptions.

Over all I would say there is poor communication and inflexibility. If it is convenient to go elsewhere I would advise it.

Covid pandemic is over, however they are still asking patients to first book a telephone appointment and once you have been called and given them the reason why you need to visit the doctor, they book you in to go to the surgery.

This is delaying too much the service. I don’t find acceptable to wait 10 days to be called plus another 10 days to visit you in person at the surgery

My grandad is with them and is on the brink of death as the surgery are giving him and our family the run around jumping hoops constantly as the GP rakes in money from the NHS for telephone consultations that just end with another telephone consultation and no referral to hospital, nurses or other services as that would end the revenue stream for the doctor.

My wife tells me - she went recently - that the culture seems very positive with a can-do attitude. She particularly commented on the front of house staff being polite and smiley. I know this is a hard thing to achieve, so we’ll done and thank you. (Of course I can’t comment on other poster’s experiences)

Met a ‘Dr’ Imran, who was completely useless. Went in regarding my child and this man could have cared less about her. Why are such people in the surgery? Go home if u can’t help people.
