Been at Kiltearn all my life and always talked myself out of leaving a warranted bad review as I have had excellent service on let’s say rare occasions… but now the joke has gone on long enough regarding their reception staff. My mum has been calling all day for no-one to pickup. She goes there in person to find ZERO patients in the waiting room, just the receptionist clearly sat there DOING NOTHING and ignoring the phone. The NHS can cry over funding til they’re blue in the face… on this occasion our tax money was being spent on the receptionist gorming out. It seems the kiltearn staff have gone from being overworked to simply have a bad attitude and they all need a bloody good shake!!

Shockingly bad practice! Lied to me about what allergy test was being run on my blood, the wrong test was run. This led to me having 3 allergic reactions. There was a complete breakdown of communication, basically they were playing hard-ball with my life. I attempted to call to complain but was hung up on twice. This then led to me going in in person to make a complaint to the practice manager. She then body shamed me and thought it was funny until I told her how inappropriate it was. I was then informed they couldn't even run the test I had asked for and that I had been lied to by the GP (one of the partners). Terrible practise! I have since transferred! Avoid at all costs!

After 199 calls.. we were able to book our son into the doctors this morning. I wish I was joking about the amount of calls we made before we finally got through. But this is no exaggeration. The NHS is a joke, so is this doctors..

Whilst I’m here, I want to share another bad experience we had with this doctors. Me and my partner were 9 months pregnant and 3-4 days overdue. Our designated nurse took measurements (which should have flagged up as dangerous). Instead the doctor read the results, chose not to record them and said we’ll be okay until next week. I questioned the doctor, asking why she hadn’t recorded the results on the system. Until now, she had always recorded the results.. She said “At this point there’s no need, everything will be fine”. 2 days later we went for a voluntary sweep at Leighton. Another nurse noticed the results weren’t recorded for some reason and should have been -.- (I was right to question her in the first place…) so we were then sent for an emergency scan. This then led to us being put in a room immediately, where another doctor explained that the results were dangerous. Our son wasn’t receiving any benefit from being inside and needed to come out ASAP. 3 hours later we were being induced. We chose not to take it further but this was put down to medical negligence in the end. I hate to think what could have happened if it wasn’t for the amazing team at Leighton realising. Also the same doctor gave us the wrong day for our original induction date. She gave us a day which Leighton doesn’t even do inductions on…This was the 5th occasion during the entire pregnancy that we had an issue with this doctors, including: Incorrect appointment times, incorrect measurements, incorrect instruction for appointments at Leighton and lastly general negligence (which we brushed off, I understand everyone has a bad day from time to time) but this occurred so frequently. It had to be said. Unfortunately this is our local doctors.

Over COVID I wouldn’t have rated highly but now lovely people who accommodated a request to be seen urgently. I was late due a taxi failing to show up but I was still seen after a short wait. Today another request for a fit note was swiftly dealt with and didn't have to wait that long on the phone. I do feel supported by Kiltearn.

This Doctors Surgery has seriously gone down hill. Whether the reason being is Covid-19 or the result of two big housing estates being built.
E -Consult is a failed system, it’s never worked for me, I never get a response.
Reception Staff are border line rude and automatically try and switch blame to you. I feel so sorry for the older generation of Nantwich who probably have to get help in just trying to make a simple appointment- which is so complicated.

Edited: November 2022
Had a message to say my prescription is ready to collect ( which has become a nightmare to order ) only to arrive and the surgery and it’s shut . Thanks for that

Absolutely rude attrocious manners from the first point of contact.. joyce is a 96 year old lady who lives alone in apartments next door to this surgery. She needed to see a doctor yesterday but could not hear the receptionist so i called on her behalf. I was told to call again today to get an emergency appointment. I dont live with joyce and was told by a VERY RUDE ABRUPT Ldy that i was too late and should of called at 8.30 am to get an appointment. What a joke! Ever likely there is an ambulance shortage! This woman single handedly must increase calls for ambulnces by the elderly of Nantwich on a daily basis as she refuses to give any doctors assistance whatsoever. She can have a telephone on the 24th Feb!!!
DISGRACEFUL TREATMENT OF PATIENTS
