I have been waiting over 4 weeks for a referral back to a surgeon to happen. I rang after 2 weeks to check it had been sent and was told it was all done and sent. Only not to still hear nothing another 2 weeks later to be told that I had to pick up forms to book it myself. On going down to sort it out, when I called the hospital I was told that no doctor had been specified. On asking why no doctor had been specified I was told computer never gave the option. So instead of using common sense and just calling up I was told the lady would call on the Tuesday after the bank holiday. Then on calling on the Tuesday to see if it had happened I was told no because she isn't in till Thursday. By this time I'm so frustrated and angry I just agree to call back on Thursday only to be told that she won't be in till Friday. This is unacceptable as I am in constant pain and the referral is to have an operation to fuse and remove arthritis in my feet.
I would like someone from the management team to explain how this has happened. I have never had any problems before with the surgery.
Thanks
Mr Birch

Super friendly staff
My children and I relocated here 2.5 years ago. Kathy is so friendly and professional and a credit to this practice! They do need some stability re turnover of doctors, but the surgery is in transition and have to give it a few years to settle down.

I was booked in for a fasting scan this morning..appointment cancelled half an hour ago..tried to give me a new appointment for next week but I thought 11 o clock was a bit late for fasting test. Next offer was day I've got new hospital appointment after 3 cancellations....I've come to the conclusion that nobody cares anymore...

Currently operating from Crossways surgery, Myers Rd West. Unfortunately only have 2 phone lines for both surgeries & limited reception staff, so can be hard to get through. Only one permanent , part time GP who is great if you can get an appt with her, otherwise locums.

I have been with this doctors now for three years and have only ever had 1 decent experience, they hang up on you when you've been calling for ages, it just happened to me now, I have bronchitis and need to speak to a doctor, feel too ill to be going the walk in, there's one receptionist there who is terribly rude to people she shouldn't work in health care
I've tried changing back to my old doctors but can't, I really hope they sort themselves out and bring in better staff

Worst doctors ever, cannot get through. They say call at 8am. 200 calls later constantly engaged then no appointments left. I feel more stressed than ever. I would leave 0 stars if allowed. Kathy is a lovely receptionist, shame about the others, especially the older woman who's voice is like a sarcastic robot.I was left on antidepressants for 10 years without any follow up. Took myself off them after finding out you should only be on them for 1 year, now I may have glaucoma thanks to them. Dreadful doctors. Go elsewhere if you value your health

The buzzer was broken, so I opened the door and the receptionist looked at me I I asked her a question and then she pretended she didn't see me or hear, me. Then I asked her again and she rudely replied. Also I had to explain to her that my father's letter came from the hospital and that I needed her to make a copy and hand me it back she wasn't listening three times I had to explain. Impolite and no people skills Siobhan I think her name is. The other receptionist is nice and seems to be more friendly and attentive.

Crosby village surgery needs another receptionist. Phone constantly busy or off, with automated information that they are closed, and working hours are 8am-6:30pm, even if you ring at various time of the day. I have been trying to book an appointment for a few days with no luck. When you manage to get on ringing line, phone is being hang up.
