Although I cannot fault the care, does anyone else have the same problems when trying to telephone for an appointment. No matter what time of day I phone I'm always around number 11 in a queue. It always takes around 25 minutes to get to number 1 and the sometimes the line just goes dead and I have to start again. It would be quicker to drive to the surgery to make the appointment. It's so terribly frustrating.

Well after a year Royal Primary care has had a 100% turn around. They've improved a hell of alot after the time! Only thing is change is simply the automated answer at the start of booking appointments take to long. You don't need to tell me constantly that the receptionist are trusted. Just have them say that under the circumstances.

Other than that the wait times have been decreased (to the best of their ability) and they've hired some great staff!

Wanted to start off by saying the staff and doctors are really good well 95% of them anyway you always get that one off it person but on the whole very good staff. The appointments system however is diabolical. You can try all you want to get though but unless you trying all the time it's always engaged. I had to get an auto redial for my phone so it could keep trying. If you do get though most of the time after 15mins the phone system drops you call and you have to start all over again. The fact of the matter is if you want an appointment best of luck trying to get one my advise move surgery

Booking an appointment is ridiculous. I've just been waiting to book an appointment by phone for over an hour and when I got through to a human being I'm told that I can't book an appointment and will have to ring up AGAIN in the morning.. I've rung before and been waiting from 8.00am till about 9.30 am only to be told that all the appointments have been taken.
I've never known a worse Heath care service in my 69 years.

Waited 40 mins from 8 till 8.40 for the clowns to answer the phone then 12 mins on hold , it would be quicker just to phone the undertaker , don’t you realise people are ill

Never answer the phone. In 7 years living in Inkersall managed to get two appointments.
One was referred to another practice and the second was booked as the last appointment of the day, which meant that the doctor ignored my requests to see a dermatologist, only listened to half of my symptoms and started talking about getting thyroid exams and bloods, all of a sudden changed direction by dismissing me without booking any examinations or follow up appointment and told me to take antihistamines.
She made it to the car park before i did...
Clearly leaving on time is more important than my health!
I was in the process of changing practices when covid hit which made them even more useless!
Register in Brimington Common and you will be much better off!

Covid jab given yesterday. 10 minute wait to get into the building and my husband and I both had our vaccines and were out in 5 minutes. Very efficient, information about possible side effects explained clearly with accompanying leaflet. The staff were excellent; well done.
