My mum was moved to Mansion house surgery by the care home she moved into for palliative care she sadly passed away in July on a Sat evening at the care home & I was able to ring our undertaker to collect mum , the surgery rang me Mon morning to explain the Dr who needed to complete the death certificate was off that day but in the day after , the Dr rang me the following day to go over the cause of the death & ask if I'd got any concerns she then signed the cert & the surgery rang to tell me the paperwork had been sent to the registry office , a couple of days later I received a condolence card from the surgery which I thought was lovely considering mum was mum was only under the surgery for the last 3 mths of her life they made a very difficult time a little a bit easier & can't thank them enough .

Hi
I have been a member of this GP for a while know, but with my most recent experience, I will be looking for a new GP. I phoned up to make a appointment to see a doctor, and the receptionist said , I have to fill in a application form and a doctor will be contact. So that's what I did, I filled in the application form and was expecting a doctor to phone me up. This was not the case I got a text message asking me a questions about a cough, which is very difficult to discribe and hard to say in word how the cough is making me feel , , so I gave them the best dicription I could, and doctor didn't even phone me, said I have a virol infection and I will be fine in two to 7 weeks, which isn't great answer to give yo a trainee teacher. How can a doctor assume my health is ok and breathing is just via text , we hat a load of coswoddle the doctor didn't even call me otver the phone to see if I was sounded healthy, the doctor didn't even listen to my chest, even tho I can here crackling in my chest, not happy and I will be leaving this GP asap , not happy and very inhuman place

I honestly do not understand why the bad reviews of this surgery and even the pharmacy (Stone Pharmacy). We recently moved into the area from Stafford, and really cannot fault neither the practice or the pharmacy, they have been absolutely fantastic so far for us. Understanding and compassionate. I don’t usually bother with reviews but felt the need on this occasion, as people may feel deterred from registering here, for us we couldn’t recommend their practice enough, so if you’re thinking of joining please do. They are very prompt with any requests. Especially if it is of an urgent nature.

I know the NHS under real pressure and I have sympathy but some of the management decisions are ridiculous, indecent and causes more issues in the long run. How can you have a serious underlying medical condition and under a consultant as obviously very unwell… you need regular infusions at the hospital but to help manage this safely need blood tests and B12 injections to support the condition..You can have the B12 at the surgery but you can’t have the blood test to support the treatment plan. You have to then have B12 in surgery and blood form in hand travel to Stafford hospital for the blood test because they can’t do those! How do people cope travelling around to get a blood test that would take 1 minute when you arrive for a B12 jab, but they won’t do it… it’s not compassionate, decent or caring! It’s ridiculous… I get if just a blood test on own you can make arrangements to go elsewhere for that in isolation, but to make families looking after sick people make 2 seperate journeys is totally ridiculous!

Absolutely amazing Surgery. I have had to visit on two occasions this week - once for myself and once for my daughter.
The nurses went above and beyond to make us both feel at ease and reassured.

The problems I encounter is that the receptionist, which I always find are very kind or the doctors that work there. The problem is getting to see one. You will probably end up in a&e or having to ring 111 because your condition has worsened when it could actually been treated a lot earlier if they didnt have the ridiculous triage form. The form will be read they say within 2 working days, I have found it is at least 48 hours after filling it in. Consequently the form the doctor is reading to try & access how urgent you need an appointment, your symptoms are now 2 days old & are probably hell of a lot worse. My diagnosis was actually made by the pharmacist next door & told me I needed a prescription urgently & unfortunately he isnt able to. The receptionist told me to fill in another triage form. Which I have but decided to self medicate to relieve the symptoms until the GP can see me. Over the last 3 months I've had to pop in 4 times for my Mum, everytime the surgery has been empty or had about 3 patients waiting. Triage form is not fit for purpose.

Customer service is awful. No compassion or empathy when calling to get my 3 year old son in to see a doctor. I was concerned that he had strep a which is very dangerous and after saying I really need him to see a doctor today she got very short with me a hung up on me! So rude!!!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Wendy receptionist and Dr Ceresa. although the whole practice work hard to meet the demands of the local population, in light of increased pressures and reduced staffing levels, both these individuals have gone above and beyond in the management of my care. Thank you
