Gerafon Surgery

We have had nothing but the most helpful and caring service from Gerafon surgery with a very friendly team on reception too. Almost always able to get an appointment for the same day and very impressed with the speed and attention to detail that illnesses are dealt with.

Gordon Clark is unprepared and unprofessional to help a patient , also this practice stopped my repeat prescriptions because I didnt answer a call from a private number about my medical assessment, if they called more than once this would be helpful or also used a non private number I would have been able to call back

Ok place but even now arsey over masks. Sign gets put outside stating 'you must wear masks' when you you don't in fact need to. I guess the manager is a bit woke.

Today's home visit to my 88 year old mother reminded me of how lucky we feel to have stumbled upon Gerafon Surgery and its wonderful team of staff.

Our doctor is superb; her competence and her joined up way of thinking connects all sorts of extra dots in order to build a picture of our entire family's health, so watching her sincere compassion when gently questioning my mother today wasn't a surprise. What I realised today, however, was just how sensitive our doctor always is to my mum's need to be considered relevant, and to be allowed a role in her health and care needs. Our doctor talks simply and directly with our slightly muddled mum, whilst seamlessly providing us with the more precisely-detailed information. She communicates with natural compassion, warmth, and refreshing humour. She doesn't discount Mum's ability to laugh at the more comedic aspects of being an aged woman, and she leaves Mum feeling like the grown up that she is.

Fantastic Surgery! I visited and stayed Benllech over xmas and unfortunately became quite ill, tonsillitis and ear infection. I called up the surgery to seek advice and they so kindly had a doctor reach out, apologies I have forgotten her name but she was so great and followed up over two days. Medication was prescribed and helped me get better. I do not know what I would have done without the surgery as I was in terrible pain. I wish my own surgery back in England was as good. Thank you!

What does it take to actually get a GP from this practice to visit? My father has terminal cancer and was visited by district nurses today who said he needed to be seen by a GP at the practice... no visit just a telephone call. I will be calling the practice in the morning and will be taking this matter further if a visit is not arranged.

Staff are fantastic both front line reception team to the back office and the doctors themselves. They have done an amazing job over covid 19
