very poor.
never once had my VERY important prescriptions on time and when I DO it is NEVER without a fight and being made to suffer for prolonged periods of time from chronic infection and emotional distress.

every doctor/nurse I have dealt with at this surgery thus far has, mostly, been a positive experience but Dr. Donlan has an APPALLING attitude and CONSTANTLY refuses life saving treatments and access to specialists.
i have been told EVERY TIME to arrange my own medical care and supplies and even once to "prove I had a stoma by getting written evidence from my surgeon" despite JUST having had major surgery I was left having to keep on the same dirty ostomy bag for FIVE DAYS and then made to do HIS JOB to save myself from further suffering.
I am also told to "do my OWN referrals".
Dr. Donlan has now refused access to a urologist 3 times in 2 weeks despite him already having caused massive and chronic infection of my kidneys and bladder by witholding basic catheter accessories and supplies to prevent infection.
his most recent refusals have led to Chronic and prolonged infection of my kidneys and bladder which is now so bad I was forced to attend hospital yesterday (on the advice of NHS direct) as I was AGAIN unable to see a doctor regarding serious infection of my kidneys and bladder.
added to the already prolonged suffering and emotional distress this has obviously caused and is still causing Dr. Donlan is STILL refusing to make a referall to a urologist.

this is not the first time i have been refused access to a specialist for my numerous chronic conditions and disabilities either. Dr.Donlan is now demanding I "put in writing what treatment I have received from urology" otherwise he "will not do the referall." dr. donlan as all gp's DO has access to my medical records and could VERY EASILY find this information out by checking them but is refusing in an APPALLING abuse of power and position .

Very difficult to get an appointment, lines are always busy. Took almost an hour last time. Good doctors and nurses though.

Very happy with this practice. All the Doctors and Nurses are excellent and really take the time to listen and investigate fully. Can get an appointment with a nurse fairly quickly, can take some time to see a Dr, but they have always managed to make space if it has been an emergency with one of our children. If you're willing to be flexible and travel to their Prestatyn branch then you are more likely to get an appointment earlier as they have a couple of half days in the Rhyl Practice.

Have always helped me care for my Children, and myself. A fantastic team, a great facility. We are so lucky to live in a country where healthcare is this ubiquitous and available. Thank you for everything you do. Fantastic people!

Today my son had a blood test at Westfield; there was a mixup with appointment times, I was adamant it was 11.30am, but it had been booked in at 11am.
The receptionist kindly asked if the phlebotomist could squeeze us in: I really appreciated this as my son is being monitored for his Liver enzymes, he currently taking roaccutane.

I just wanted to say thankyou for squeezing him in, and apologies if I mistook the time.

I am frankly appalled at the way this surgery has treated my mum. Although she was ill enough to be off work, there was no sense of urgency in getting her checked out by a doctor/giving her blood tests and the nurse dismissed her with a 'sinus infection'. After waiting over 2 months to see a Doctor, my mum finally had blood tests and was sent immediatly to hospital when the results came back as they revealed her liver wasnt functioning. Not only that, she also had a collapsed lung and her heart is also failing. It is disgraceful that it got to this point, my mum being left to suffer for three months from home severely unwell. I understand there is lots of pressure on the NHS at the moment, but if a patient is unwell enough to be off work and has extreme shortness of breath, nausea and not eating that to me seems a big red flag to get them sorted ASAP.
