Abernant Surgery

absolutely disgusting surgery the staff are rude never spoken to anyone so disrespectful, receptionist think they are qualified doctors. and basically tell you it's 'not their problem'. ring on the day appointments wait half hour to get through then they are all gone what if you become ill late morning you have to wait nearly 24hours to be allowed to try and make an appointment then it's not guaranteed. absolute joke. Aberbeeg surgery is just as bad you see a different doctor each time don't no Wether your coming or going. surgery was better when it was just Dr narrang in Aberbeeg always made sure you had an appointment and was seen no matter what the problem was. awful!! had to give one star because there's no option for a 0!

No confidentiality and removed me from the practice because I requested that I had a letter sent to a different adreadd seems my time is spent in ebbw vale as I work there .. no communication and was told to ring back at a spasific time a conveniently the management was in a meeting .. waste of time ....

Horrible place to have to go, there are never any appointments, when you actually manage to speak to someone the receptionists have an attitude and the doctors are even worse. I've never been asked by a doctor before why am I there after 2 weeks of constant coughing and being told there was no point going in. If you're 2 minutes late they try and guilt trio you and yet I've been sat in three for 30 minutes waiting for a doctor to actually turn up. Utter waste of time.

I had a thorough examination and doctor explained possible causes of my problem and systematically dealt with each, I was prescribed medication which solved my problem. So very happy with my treatment and the manner in which I was dealt with.Also mention staff at the reception were 1st class.

Poor experience of this practice.
Was put on a triage list due to COVID for the dr to call me back for my daughter who has had a ear infection for over 2 wks.
I totally understand this protocol as I work in the nhs myself which as been very difficult through these tough time
I missed my 1 call from them as I was in work myself
Called receptionist back to apologise to be told ID MISSED MY SLOT. An the doctor will not return my call!! Call tomorrow
Very rude receptionist & poor quality of care.

Excellent service this morning, in the car park, for CaerphillyCB patients. Staff, in full PPE, were on hand to take names and direct people to the container for 'flu injections. All staff were patient and helpful.

Superb treatment from Dr Rudling for over 14 years. Also Dr Chouan.
But beware the bean counter. Treacherous with no medical knowledge.
