Doors of Distinction

Doors of Distinction have terrible customer service. They promised delivery dates but did NOT deliver on the agreed time. We had to Keep chasing them to deliver.
It took three months to deliver my doors and every time I called they kept on saying delivery will take place next week but never arrived. Very irritating as I paid several call out charges to my carpenter. Eventually when the doors were delivered without prior warning of the delivery date and the drivers left the doors outside and didn’t take the doors inside the house.
The doors were outside as a lady I couldn’t take the doors inside and there were three doors and they were really heavy. The doors were outside all day and it was raining damaging the doors and we only got the doors in when my husband returned from work.
Be careful of the price of the doors on their website. They advertise a attractive prices and the price is shown excluding VAT on the website until you go to ch checkouts. The purchase of the doors work out to be more expensive compared to other retailers.
They deliver damaged doors and then charge a ridiculous fee for returns.
Terrible service,never purchasing anything from this company.

I needed 6 internal fire doors. Looked around the internet and called them as I liked their website. I spoke to Martin who was very knowledgeable to the point that I ordered different doors that met my door frame spec which was vital as I could have ordered the wrong doors. ...and they were cheaper! He went through everything from the delivery side to the type of hinges I needed. The doors arrived when they were supposed to and they look spectacular. I’ve got the grooved panelled Sevilla fire doors which have now been hung and I’m delighted with how the look. They also reduce sound the tv’s from my kids bedrooms! I went for the 48 hour delivery service, just make sure there are 2 of you to take them off the pallet when they arrive (as advised by Martin). I have no complaints and will be using ‘D of D’ again when I renovate the rest of our house. Thank you!

Bought 6 Mexicana fire doors. Very happy with th quality and price. Delivery as scheduled.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Their service is excellent and product quality of the highest standard. My whole house now has doors supplied by them and the latest is a bespoke door to match existing. One particular individual stands out and that is Sales Executive, Colin Clews and thank you Colin for all your help.

awful customer service. Sold me a faulty door and wouldn't cover cost to re- fit a new door. not their responsibility apparently. Don't go near them

Excellent service at Doors of Distinction in Swanley - Danny’s knowledge of doors available across all brands is exceptional. The ‘showroom’ is not flashy but it’s crammed full of doors and samples, and they can order options in too: this beats the big home retailers who all only have tiny selections of what is available for a handful of brands if you’re lucky. Go here for personal service rather than a faceless big retailer.

I usually don't like to write any reviews, but this time it is the exception. It is really hard to get through to customer cervice team. We placed the order a week ago, nobody even didn't give us the order number and the email address was taken incorrectly. They didn't bother to contact and double check why the email is bouncing back to them. I wish it could be the biggest fault. When we placed an order we have been promised that they should receive the items by the end of the week to their warehouse and they will contact us to arrange a delivery, so that we will receive our items within two weeks. None was done. I have been in touch myself in a week and received an answer that they don't have the items in stock and they probably will receive it in October. No alternatives was offered. They haven't been apologetic. We had to cancel the whole order and they ruined the completion of project in time. Please do not rely on them
