Quality Dry Cleaners

According to Google, this dry cleaners is open until 7:30pm. I turned up at the shop at 7:20, with the shutters half open. I knocked on the door and ducked underneath the shutters to enter the shop. I was told very rudely that the shop was closed and it was "impossible" for him to accept my 4 suits and write me a ticket (a process which would have taken less than a minute!). He must be making money hand over fist to turn down this business, as well as any future business that I may have. I certainly will not be returning.

TL;DR: The man who works here verbally assaulted me and threw my dress shirt on the floor.

Today I went to drop off some shirts at "Quality" dry cleaners. I was aware that they had an offer for 6 shirts laundered and pressed. But I was not aware that this offer did not apply to dress shirts. 1 of the shirts I had brought was a dress shirt.

The man began to verbally assault me. He accused me of making things "complicated". I said I didn't know it didn't apply, and tried to explain myself but he cut me off. I told him to forget about it and give me my shirts back, and returned the ticket to him. He interpreted this as bad "attitude", and threw my dress shirt on the floor. I was utterly shocked by this treatment, took back my shirts and left.

I do not know if the verbal assault was racially-motivated (I am from an ethnic minority) but I find it hard to believe that if I was white I would have received the same treatment. My worry is that he will now seek to damage the two suits I had previously left with him to be picked up.

I recently had to get a suit dry cleaned and I went to Quality Dry Cleaners and I must say they do actually mean quality. I was provided with great levels of customer service and my suit looked brand new as soon as I got it back! I am definitely going to be a regular customer here from now. Honestly, they are heavily downgraded due to the previous owner being an absolute shock!

Outstanding customer service and a very professional dry cleaning service! They are quick and reliable because when they say it will take 2 days they actually do take 2 days! The prices are very good and affordable for the area as well. I am definitely going to be a regular customer here! They really are Quality Dry Cleaners!

Very pleasant man collecting the clothing for cleaning and repair. Before brining close to the shop I had to measure myself, which I did not do and it is not too comfortable to do it in the place. But the staff was very friendly, offered me pins and called me after to clarify how I wanted my top to be cut. The service was neatly done. Recommended.

Had my trousers taken up here and the thread had already come apart on one leg after 1 wear. I took it back to be fixed and they wanted to charge the same price as getting the pair of trousers taken up. Absolute rip off and will take my clothing elsewhere to be fixed.

Got some dry cleaning and wash and fold done while we were visiting London. It was all done nicely, on time, and the owner (?) was super nice.

They open when they wish. Opening hours incorrect. Went 2 days in a row to collect my cleaning and closed early both days. Told by guy who came out from neighbouring shop when I called the number on window he wouldn't open shop now to give me but would open up early following morning to give me order. Went following morning and no one in sight! Finally got my order, no apology. Don't use if you need within timeframe. 4 days late and no compensation. Better cleaners in area
