Prestige Dry Cleaners

Following one of my wife's friend's recommendations, I took a pair of trousers for alterations last week and I am a happy customer. Service was good (polite, accommodating and knowledgeable), trousers were ready in time and fit perfectly without any evidence of alterations. I will be back.

Accidentally split a pint of coke over a brand new Cream coat (Opps!!) and the results from Prestige are amazing. Highly highly recommend their services at such a good price and quick return of the coat. I will definitely be using them again, much better value than the shops in the town centre and very helpful.

Several years of great customer service for our family. Black tie dress taken up, my husbands work overcoat rip almost invisibly repaired, suits altered & more recently all school nametapes sewed on. Thanks!

I use Prestige for all of my alterations and am always so impressed with the quality. Leila and Elham are so friendly too, I sometimes get extra dry cleaning done just so i can pop in and have a chat!

I understand that people need to have lunch break but when you leave a note on the door saying: Lunch break till 2pm and you leave 2 phone numbers to call and is 2:15 and no ones is back at the shop and no one is answering the phones then I am sorry but that is not professional. Morisons stole you a customer today…

Do not recommend! There is never a person in the shop, so you must shout until someone appears from downstairs and it is extremely annoying as they do not hear you unless you shout very loud.
But my issue was the fact that I paid to have a suit dry cleaned and a couple of buttons sewed back and after trying to collect it four times in 9 days only half of the work was complete, so I ended up taking it back and sending to another place to get it done. Also, the only apology I received was a simple “sorry” and no refund whatsoever.

UPDATE: we had to collect our son's suit for school last Friday. The guy had had a death in the family and had closed the shop, but he went above and beyond, arranged for another family member to wait at the shop for us, then delivered the suit to our house 1 hour later. Cannot thank them enough. Superb service, the type I thought had been lost in this Country.
We've been using these guys for several years and they've always been very good. Due to the pandemic business slowed down so they adapted their working hours etc. There is a note on the door if they're not there with a number to call, but they always answer and come right away. We go there at different times of day and they are usually there. We are just grateful they haven't had to close down. One of the few dry cleaners in this town where clothes don't come back with curry stains or bad odours. I guess we treat them with courtesy and they do to us in return so never had any problems.

Charged me 50% more than the estimate for replacing a zip on a jacket - which made the repair cost more than it was worth. Mumbled some excuse about "the tailor sets the price".
