Does anyone ever answer the phones at SSE?
I have tried and tried to phone them to report the collapse of fencing around a substation at my father inlaw's home.
After call after call lasting over 30 minutes each, i was cut of each time.
This is after using the so called EMERGENCY NUMBER, thank goodness nobody was actually hurt during the collapse.

OK, SSE, IF YOU BOTHER TO READ THIS REVIEW.
The fencing around the Substation at DELPHI WAY, CROOKHORN,
SUBSTATION NUMBER 3129629 has collapsed, you had better hope that children don't find their way into this Sub and get killed. I have phoned numerous times to be kept on hold and then cut off.
You have been warned. It's disgusting that it has come to this, me having to try to get through to you this way.

When the storm Eunice hit, my elderly mum was left with no electric, for me as many other s it was really a tough situation, I tried my best to help her and then by some miracle 12 hrs after it went down it came back on, I just want to say thank you so much you guys really don't get enough appreciation or credit and are often forgotten about and its times like that when I realise how lucky we are ❤️❤️❤️❤️

looks like customers weren’t happy. But the experience of former employees, having been managed out of their job, wasn’t great either.

Firstly, i am only giving a 1 star as i can not give a 0 star.
This has to be one of the worst companies i have ever dealt with.
I first raised a complaint back on the 15.10.2021, as S.S.E failed the Direct Debit Mandate - i waited until the 10.11.2021, as i still had not gotten a call back from the Complaints department / Manager as i was promised. I was then promised another call back on the 13.11.2021 as my first complaint was not raised - And Shocker no call back. I then called back on the 20.11.2021 - to again chase S.S.E - to find out that my complaint again was not raised, as the adviser was told by a manager not to raise the complaint, until its been investigated. I have the legal right to raise a complaint and no manager should have the power to reject my complaint. Finally on the 20.11.2021 i had gotten a complaint raised - once again i was promised an other manager and Complaint call back - and made it very clear i should not get any call backs between Monday and Friday [[ due to my working patterns ]] and was promised a call back on a Saturday. Then skip a lot of details and issues within this time we are now on the 18.12.2021 - and still no manager call back, i also found out on the 11.12.2021 that my complaint was closed - I never got a F.R.L and i told My complaint handler "Clinton" not to close my complaint as i was not happy. Yet again S.S.E have the power to do what they like and when they like. He closed my complaint. Today on the 18.12.2021 i have spoken to 4 different agents. yay for me! First agent promised a manager call back - waited 30 mins - no call back. Called again and this agent passed me over to a closed department without making me aware she was going to transfer me [[cold transfer if you like]] - Called again and this agent told me: "i don't trust you" [[ reference S.S.E failing call backs and D.D.M]] [[Even through my first complaint handler "Clinton" agreed they failed the D.D.M and failed call backs in the past]] He then gave me incorrect information and when i challenged him on this he then hung up on me. So i called back up and promised another call back. This is not even half of the issues I have had with S.S.E . [[I've also had DPA breached on my account - so be careful on what details you give them to "hold" as it might be passed onto a None third Party.]] . Customer Services: give you false promises / Managers: have more power then the F.O.S / and the Complaints Team: can open and close a complaint when they like. Honestly the worst company i have ever had to deal with. I would't even wish this level of service on my worst enemy.

I just want to say that I am sick with the capacity of SSE! today, for no reason at 10 am I got my power cut off. Went on the phone with them 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 people always referring us to the wrong guys all over again. My two children that came from school and my granddaughter who is 8 months couldn't even have dinner because there was no electricity. This is horrible! No hot water, no electricity and no one would do anything about it, even when I explaint I couldn't even get a take away. Was on the phone to them for two hours at the end for them to end my call and when I called back saying that they'd reopen tomorrow. Is this how we're suppose to feel as costomers? Had to ask my neighbour for help because I couldn't cook or heat up the milk for the 8 month old, and they cared less!
This is a disgrace, sort out your company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
THEY OVER CHARGED ME OVER £1000
IM STILL TRYING TO GET IT BACK !
THEY PROMISED TO PAY IT BACK
BUT NO MONEY ! TWO MONTHS NOW AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT PAID IT BACK WITH MANY PHONE CALLS .....
