We have a brand new MacBook Air 2020 used less than 1 hour...in the retail box with retail stickers and packing. The motherboard has a manufacturing defect as told to us by Andrew at the Grande Arcade Cambrigde.

The MacBook Air was even taken in the back and covers removed not one speck of dust...brand new.

Genius bar...... said replace the motherboard for over 500.00 pounds.

Total extortion with no admission that it should have never been sold with that defect. Only offered 10 percent off on the repair.

We own over 30 devices that we have purchase from Apple and all we can say is that Apple is not the company it use to be......

Customers lost today....

Highly Disappointed

Extremely disappointed.

Clearly had an unqualified person sell me a phone. No Apple ID check meant I was nearly locked out but I could take that. What I am livid about is the bad info I was given about backed up photos. I had recent pics that were really special and I was assured they were backed up but no they weren’t. On top of that I was assured I wouldn’t need to enter all my passwords (most of which I’ve forgotten) and guess what. I can’t access my banking or emails. Nightmare. Avoid. Thanks Jamie

Had accidentally smashed my rear glass on my iPhone. Super easy to book an appointment same day and be seen. Was dealt with by Paul who was phenomenal. Due to closing times they weren’t going to be able to replace it that day, however Paul worked his magic and found a workaround. Thank you Paul!! :)

Took a woman 45 minutes to complete an iPhone purchase who didn’t know either their own product or the process. She then sold the wrong Apple care product. When i went back ten minutes later to highlight it. They told me to go away and change it at home. I was then told i couldn’t do it and had to go back to the store to have a new credit check and a hole re do of the agreement. After year of Apple purchases by far the worst experience i have ever had. Dirty i tidy store with I’ll trained staff.

It is not possible to speak with the Cambridge Apple store directly because Apple have a dreadful automated calling system. All I wanted to do was call them to book a day and time to take my laptop Air into them which has developed a fault with the finger pad pretty soon after I got it and now is really bad such that it is unusable. Also it won’t do OS updates. Hate Apple products. It is a long way to go only to be told they cannot look at it and to come back on another day. Totally useless.

They are amazingly helpful. I visited them with minor problem on my iPhone, and right there they checked it and fixed without any cost, even my iPhone 12 is 23 month old and I bought it from John Lewis. John Lewis customer service was awful and they wanted to keep my phone up to 28 days, but the technician at the Apple shop Cambridge fixed while I was waiting. Many thanks for been helpful.
I am using my phone for my business and you guys saved me today. Will never go to John Lewis buy anything from them.
Next phone would be from Apple shop in Cambridge. Thanks again.

I visited the Apple store to trade in my mac book Pro for an iPad. I was greeted by James who was so kind and helpful. I have honestly never experienced service anywhere where I have left the store feeling like I made a friend. James was so personable, we spoke about our mutual love of music, shared a few laughs while he got everything done and sorted for me. James is an absolutely brilliant guy and definitely a reason why I will only visit this particular Apple store.

Marmite - you either love this store or hate it - for me a second totally shocking experience - all I wanted was to purchase 2 off iPhone 14’s. Must have been 20 employees on the shop floor - mostly chatting amongst themselves in groups - failing to attract attention of an assistant I approached one who said he couldn’t help with a phone but could book me an appointment with a colleague which would be in about 20 mins time. What do the staff loafing around in this store actually get paid to do. Easy decision to walk and got great service from John Lewis.
